I could not reay give a toss what a player or manager says to humour the fans. Results matter and getting them regularly. Right now we are not
-
At both ends I know one or two posters have been banging te drum about the lack of width costing us. Derry in particular... I was not sure but last night I totally came round. I can see why lambert scored so many goals for them as they play with two very wide players. You could see early on that they would punish us down the wings melis should no way have stayed on as long as he did. Offers no width on any flank and gave the full back no protection what so ever I will ud my hands up about lallana, I thought he was very good playing off lambert but when he goes wide he is no way as effective we have the middle of the park sorted, Hammond and Morgan complement each other well but with Morgan you need width as he is always looking to spread the play and mix it up. Last night he could only really do this to our full backs who were but advanced enough to cause a real danger I hve not been as much as some here. Has this ben the case for a few games or was last night a one off

A few weeks ago I bought a new telly for by bedroom. A goodmans LCD with built in free view I noticed after about a week or two that at times when watching it in free view mode that the picture some times freezes and I have to turn the telly off and back on again using the standby button on the remote is it the telly or the free view ?

But the crosses were there and it was a good indication from god knows how many around me thatbit was going to cost us sooner or later. And it did
-
Behave they whipped in a few crosses that skipped across our 6 yard box in the second half. Their 2ng goal that was ruled out was from another move down our left... It was there for all to see from early on that they could only threat down the wings and we did not counter it really.. Their first goal should have been a wake up call really. Everyone around me could see and said early that once again our lack of width would cost us... An no matter how you dress it up. It did
-
When people say we were good. Yes for 15 mins in each half. Criminal lack of width that left both James and Harding exposed... Which contributed to all of their goals as all 3 came fro our left. They had no chance down the middle as Morgan and Hammond owned that part of the pitch but we invited them all game to go down our wings criminal really

How long will you give Pardew to get a second win?
Thedelldays replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
IMO if we are still in the relegation zone on jan 1st 2010 then he should resign before he is sacked IMO -
Thought he played well won most headers and slipped in lallana for a goal and scored himself
-
Fair points.. Totally but I'm sure the offside rule is the same in Italy. He was wandering waaaaay offside when upfront, so much it was horrible to watch like I said, hope it was a one off
-
Were you there last night? He scored a goal that was already in and from about 2 inches out as it bounced back out. I'm talking about his overall game
-
Indeed... That is why I hope it was a one off when he was up front he was in a differen leave to BWP on straying off side. It was horrible to watch

Can anyone see Cortese putting up with this much longer ?

So if we are well adrift by Xmas (which so far could well happen) then we must stick with pardew for continuity sake? Not for me -
Got called the usual crap for daring to say i wanted to wait before getting all excited about papa. Well I saw him last night and. Errr he has some pace give him that. But not too sure he knows what he was doing. He I not really a winger and going by his ridiculous interpretation of what off side is I'm not convinced yet thy he is a striker hope this was a one off
-
So... What are you saying? We got better with every sub made ? As we clearly did not
-
Not for me......YET ben saying for a few weeks that we have been under achieving but got told to shut up Tonight, pardew worried me. All three of his subs made us progressively worse each time.... Very worrying
-
Agree about morgan but he is still. Teenager... He ran the game at times just a shame the set up if the team does not bring even more out of him I won't hide from this. For the first time am concerned if pardew is up to it.. As the subs he made turned us the back foot more each time... Not the first time this has been said either hope it was "just one of them things" tonight
-
Anyone who says Morgan was rubbish clearly has no idea I made a point of watching him and lallana closely after they both have been in for some stick on here lallana was indeed good with lambert and has superb touch Morgan was awesome for most of the game. At times unplayable. Always wanted the ball always want to spread play.. I think from open play h gave the ball away about twice the whole game. Very good
-
Oh we still can't take corners lol Morgan was alway wanting the ball and spread the ball and spread the play very well. His corners were not good though
-
The most worrying thing was every sub we made we got worse officials were awful I was by the half way line in the kingslan and the lino was crap and got dog abuse all game lol
-
I did did you if not please don't comment
-
Will say again Morgan was brilliant and got taken off.. Maybe he got a knock and papa.. Ummmm seriously has no idea what off side is Wi admit lallana looks good with lambert but no NO width poor old saints relegation battle is on
-
Went tonight ummm who ever keeps saying we are getting betteretc are wrong we are pretty crap with a multi million pound team we played well in spells but they did Morgan was awesome lallana was brilliant in the first half with lambert Am concerned with pardew already every change he made... We got worse We are crap... Look good but crap

25 quid by the half way line - ooooh, bargain

U.S. Military may lift ban on women in submarines
Thedelldays replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
There is not one sailor I know who used to serve on ships before women did who say the operational capability got better when women were allowed on infact all say it was the start of the decline In the surface fleet why are women generally kept away from the specialist elements of the armed forces.? -
