personally.i could not careless how someone came to power...I really dont in the football world..i judge them on what they do..and after askham handed over control..we went on to build a brand new stadium, (which we spent farking years trying to do else where) went on to a cup final and european football... I could not care if he is ted bates..so many fans live in some sort of nostalgic dream world with football...when in reality, it is far from that.. we did achieve a hell of alot for about 6 years after askham handed over....then of course, it went very wrong...

why....no one had a problem with askham when we played espanyol at SMS or when we were in cardiff in 2003..or when we were in romania etc... no one had an issue then...cant say it is all his fault...just makes you look silly..

although some are loving it sad sad day...we have a useless team hovering just above the drop zone in the CCC and the people in power or can get power are slagging ech other off in public... no wonder no one can be arsed anymore

years ago...new york new york bouncers were like this...pretty nasty bunch...would get very heavy handed for no reason etc.. one time one turned up with a mate when myself and a few mates was in the bricklayers arms in Millbrook... he got what was coming to him....

one mortgage by the way..was lucky enough to play the property game early enough... as for the navy...yes, make it go bankrupt, I would surely get a huge pay off from the government...as you do with public services... the payoffs in the 90's when they had a huge round of cuts were very attractive....if they offered me the right sum, I would be off like a shot..

how many times did you really buy many goods in there..? maybe passing through, a dvd, pick n mix or a cheapo toy.. offered nothing really...

i did not quite mean it like that...i mean good riddance as in...will it be missed..i was a tad harsh for the titles sake... thinking about it..im surprised it lasted as long as it did...was a god awful shop that did not change with the times for too long...

what makes me laugh is that people seems surprised by this... we have an average attendance for the league we are in..despite being way below average in the league... man utd rocking up would fill the nou camp...let alone SMS...they are the english, european and world champions.. we are crap in the CCC with an above crap average attendance this season...and some seem surprised by this and in the same breath tell us we should not expect much in the league than where we are right now.. odd is not the word

during the palace game when the camera panned round onto him...i felt sorry for him...he looked defeated as soon as their first goal went in.... he is clearly a nice bloke and a good coach...but he is not what we need right now...and sadly, so many said this at the start of the season...in an ideal world...he would be part of our youth set up when we were in the premiership... what sane thinking person would have appointed him in the first place...?

why is it hard for people to understand.. man utd sell out ALL premiershiop grounds that dont sell out..let alone CCC clubs.. they are the english, european and world champions....of course they are going to draw the more casual fan out of the woodwork.. it would happen at every single other club in the WORLD let alone southampton

yes..but all other clubs do deals like the forest game..... plymouth do one game a season for £5.....so our deals are not that great compared to others...

but..charlton are in the 2nd season of parachute payments and their fans probably expected them to be in the hunt for the top 2-6... forest have just had relative success and got promoted.. we on the other hand have been in steady decline with no highs or expectations.. even so...14th in terms of average attendance is great considering all other factors around the club...lowe/1 win at home/****e football... nearly every week uber fans keep telling us "what do you expect" after a bad result...then some of those fans have a pop at others who dont go that much any more......maybe they should think about what they speak at times..

and world champions.... so, we have the english, european and world club champions coming to SMS and people get uppity as they draw a full house.. WTF do some of expect..lol

lol...every week we get told to remember where we are...the CCC.. then in the same breath people moan that we only get 15k per home game.. have a look at the league...15k is infact a decent turn out considering we have won one at home all season... it is hardly new that man utd draw a big crowd with a lower league side...

cant think of a time in the history of football where I have read about the prospect of a full stadium being mocked...
