they were talking about this on the radio and one bloke (irish) came on applauding the guys who walked out...saying rememberance day disgusted him blah blah...despite the fact that over 50k irish people died in WW1 alone.....he said he could never forgive the English for what they did to his country etc... after the presenter saying he understood but felt the english cant go on saying sorry for what happened 100 years ago..he asked this chap what part of Ireland he now lives in.. he replied he did not live in Ireland....he lives in......LONDON...

the dirty horrible gits...I hated them anyway but this is another reason to add to the list.. during this weekend games the mins silence at the Celtic game for rememberance day had to be changed to a mins applause (despite pleas from the british legion and many other groups) due to fears that Celtic fans would disrupt the silence....this came about after ge club received many many letters and phone calls from fans saying they would be prepared to walk about of the ground should the club conduct a mins silence...those fans who moaned claim that the mins silence and rememberance day as a whole promotes british imperialism and its history.. do these people really live in the UK? another reason why I hate that club and SOME (not all) of their fans... Edit - Looking into this even more...over 200 fans walked out of the game during the mins applause....unbelievable

I just cannot believe that the russians would loan out such a a submarine...as for akulas...i would agree with you as I have quite a bit of experience in this area (im sure you get me..) and the idea of the russians letting the indians get their hands on them is quite extraordinary...they might aswell email the blade rates and signature tones of Akula II's to the admiralty to save us the time in going to other parts of the world to find out... as this is effectively what they are doing by lending them to the indians... SSGN and SSN are classed as the same thing these days.....all RN attack boats are SSGN due to the fact they all cary TLAM (tommahawk cruise missiles).... but what is a few letters in the name of destruction..lol

I was out in the indian ocean with work around april this year...and what you said is true about detaining pirates... i was involved in an op regarding ths issue and the carrier HMS Illustrious was in area and their helos were following a hijacked boat (it was a massive luxury liner and it was on the news) and the RN would not get more involved despite having an RN battle group of one carrier, two frigates, one destroyer, two mine sweepers and two RFAs with one hunter killer sub.....they (we) would not get involved because of the very reason you said and you can see the hatred by the command towards the stupid PC rules being enforced on the forces... the Yanks dealt with the pirates and did what they did...

appointed Jan..? seriously? no one in the prem...cant see any other CCC club not even a league 1 club... even thinking a bit more....cant see anyone in england appointing him at all..

i know..that one was a real shock...that class of sub (that was the kursk) is the biggest attack boat in the world and is able to dive deeper than any other submarine in the world and is litterally armed to the teeth...

i dont really get what blair and maggie have to do with what you have mentioned... many many in the forces (at the time) had huge amounts of respect for maggie...more so than brown or blair

indeed...but that does not hide the fact that jan STILLL does not know who is main starting 11 are and watching him make so many changes week in week out AND during games makes me feel he is out of his depth and trying anything.. I could not careless if fans though WGS was a mistake..I am looking at the here and now and my confidence in the manager (head coach) is draining by the game... last week at preston was a one off...we still had to score 3 to win and actually did so on that occaision... i really really fear for the younger players when we play wolves and reading...we could get some serious score lines against us

hmmm...the attitude shown towards the muppet show/lounge users is not great...just like lowes attitude towards the itchen corner...
