last time we went down (twice)...was a right hoot...the club was all the better for it..right..? you talk about financial clout..why have we taken out a loan against next years TV money...? as for continuity...did you stress that when Wotte was moved on...? we could have had 4 years of him now...that would have been fantastic..right..? staying up is very important as teams that go down are used to losing..and losing most weeks..I doubt we would go down and keep a team as strong as west ham did last season..(who fisnished 3rd)...we would probably have a new manager and loads of discontent around the club....we would no doubt lose a bunch of our best players leaving us with mostly, the dross that played tonight... going down would be shyte all round really...like it generally is for every single club

its difficult when adkins comes out many times saying that he is solely responsible for the team and everything that goes with it...he could quite easily say nothing of the sort..and give one of his vague answers..but no, he really makes the pioint that it is on him........

how was it that this doesnt matter but a few years ago...when it was all about getting the winning habbit...pardew went against the club and went out to win the cup (JPT) to get the club into the habbit of winning...possibly at the expense of a league placing (which would have been a playoff spot) and the general thought was that winning was better at the time we really need wins now..but that does not matter

I never thought the team would fit into WGS style last time..after all, he had just taken a team down... I would LOVE him to come back..

we are a premier league club...I bet we would have gone into this with greater confidence had we been doing better in the league......last season, I would have expected saints to have beating many of the prem teams we have faced at home this season..I expected saints to go to leeds, west ham etc and win...I would shocked when we actually lost......now I fully expect it....I knew we would lose tonight, we will lose at WBA....we HAVE to change the manager

Adkins is simply no where near good enough....he really isnt. great league manager but this is a step to far too soon for him....I hope he does the decent thing and resigns...he will always be a legend..but he is not doing it for us...
