I think it was to get a group of players in now....we know the fees(ish) is around £28m...making us the 7th biggest spenders in europe (this is saints we are talking about here)...with that will come hyper inflated agent fees and signing on fees.....I very much doubt we had that sort of money up front...considering we are (or trying to at the mo) making major improvements to the training ground...... that is my hope anyway.....I just cant see NC buying a club from admin and allowing us to be put in such a risky state...I think all will be fine..maybe makes relegation less of a welcome outcome (if it ever was) and add that bit more pressure on nigel to succeed...but we wanted decent players and they cost hard fukin cash.... just hope this is sensible transaction and not a "drunk on premier legaue like pompey" sort of direction

I think it is safe to say...relegation this season would be a disaster....

recently sold my flat in plymouth....outside of an estate agency...and just phoned up 3 local solicitors and went with the cheapest selling cost me £500 all in......I had to pay £50 up front..then about a month later another £50 and the rest came out of the sale money cant remember how much it cost the buyer (who is a mate of mine) but it was a bit more..I think his fee was around £700

everything I read about PCNs online tells me there is no legal obligation to pay...they would have to take me to court to pay a £60....which will cost them a great deal more to do.... I have ignored a PCN in southampton from earlier on in the year....after about 2 months of letters that got more and more threatening...they just stopped...and researching online....many many people do the same

I dont mind him...at least he plays (now at west ham) and will do well for them.......but no crouch, despite always scoring.. we seems to be fixated on age...if a player is 30 now..fans seem to think we should not look at them as they will be 34 in 4 years..or something daft like that.. but the idea that sturridge gets in ahead of many is a joke..he never plays for chelsea and when he does, he is very much a 'head down' type of player who plays for himself. dont get me started on cleverley... as usual...roooney will be a shoe-in for a starting place. just wait till phil jones is fit..parts of the press will go on about him being some sort of future england captain..ignoring the fact that he is not very good

the squad is a joke... we will no doubt, turn to non performing, non scoring players and build them up to something they are not. Cleverley, Sturridge, Welbeck, downing Lambert has no chance...despite being brilliant this season

I agree...making whole sale changes will mean we may as well give them the match...Leeds certainly will be going for it.. i would say, 2 changes..MAX.. look at what the did to everton..who made about 6 changes... we have spurs at home 2 days before...but do not play WBA until the monday after.....surely the players can handle 2 games in 3 days..we used to do it all the time last season
