I also heard that the Type 23 was originally designed without a 4.5 gun but some Admiral at the time was in the Falklands and said they are to have 4.5 guns or don't bother Type 22 batch 1+2 did not have these guns So many of my instructors were part of op corporate and the stories they tell are simply amazing.
