the club never lobbed the money for the world cup bid...the city did (i think)..it is a city bid, not the club... also, the council have said they will not be bailing argyle out, there was talk about the council re-buying Home Park and renting it back...but that is not an option it seems.. their fans are litterally begging their japanese shareholders for money and sending petitions etc......that seems to be their only hope.. of all the clubs in the last few years that have gone into admin, argyle APPEAR to be in the worst state.....worrying times

althogh 2nd is the least we can hope for...IF come the end of the last game this season we are 2nd and automatically promoted, I will be absolutely delighted...

totally agree...it was all "we need at least one wide player and an attacker with pace if we are to go up" we get exactly that, keep our prize kid, sign up two loan players who have been great and sign up a proper talent and arguably the best player in the league on an extended contract...and people still are "underwhelmed" I am gobsmacked really
