Listening to the radio this morning on the way to work..and as usual, the journos were disecting everything to do with the England Football Team. they were all creaming themselves about Owen and how he MUST go to the World Cup with England.. They say he is the best and most natural finisher we have. IMO. Owen is past it...waaaay past it..how on earth can he or anyone be taken seriously when they want him to be included into the world cup squad. thank god Capello is not that daft

During the first half of their game yesterday..the commentators spent a few moments talking about the troubles at pompey.. one said something to the other about how loyal pompey fans are and how they still sell out every week... despite the camera AT THE GAME THEY WERE COMMENTATING ON showing the nation large blocks of empty seats.

it is true...how come we cant expect much after no pre season but you look into WGS results after he has been in less time than pardew WGS has alot of (and has done a lot of) wheeling and dealing to do there will be players at boro who dont want to be there...remember what it was like when we went down..even our star keeper leg it over money for a few days. how you can post such things about results then on the other board champion poor results....when BOTH managers have had NO pre season

reading the reactions..what is really pleasing is that the NEW players seemed to have stood out today.. it is great when you bring in good players and they make the first team better almost straight away.. well done to Barnard and Puncheon it seems
