We've got 4 mins added on! If Everton can score 2 in 3mins, we can score 2 in 4mins! Come On!!
-
Hope so. To me he has shown less tactical awareness and worse use of subs than Pardew did. Pardew used subs with about 5 mins to go but Wilkins brings on the wrong ones with 20-15 mins to go.
-
What is Wilkins obsession with Mills?? You have Dickson on the bench who can do a far better job!
-
Spot on! The winning mentality is slowly drifting away and needs someone with experience of it to come in and restore the faith to the side.
-
Time to make some changes IMO. Take Oxlade & Connolly off. Put Dickson on in midfield and Guly behind Lambert & Puncheon upfront. Need that extra attacking threat with the runs from Dickson & Guly.
-
Sounds like an even game. Gillett scores for Donny.
-
Scunny 1-0 down. Adomah scored for Brizzle City.

IMO, proven track record. The quicker we get out of this league and the Championship, the quicker we can rebuild and hopefully become a top 8 premier league team. Potential is good but what happens if it doesn't work out? We'll end up sacking him in 6/8months time and starting all over again. Get someone in who can get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Just seen this on SSN ticker: Now they're about to do report on it.

Fantastic strike! Joe Hart had no chance! The complacency was starting to set in before we got our 2nd but 2-1 and it's now gonna be more edgy again.
-
I reckon that it's Nigel Adkins & Phil Brown.

Haha on Jordan Sibley's twitter: "It's days like these I wish I ran a bookies!" Most probably bull**** then

http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-specials/manager-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=348943 He's even at 15/8 for Saints to be his next job! Maybe some people have had tip offs and shoved loads of money on him? His odds from different bookies have plummeted.
-
It's crazy, he's gone from quite good odds, dropped out of it, slowly climbed back up and is now favourite! My heart wants it to be O'Neill but my head says it'll be Adkins. Both good managers and I feel that Adkins would be more suited to the job in hand than O'Neill. We'll just have to wait a bit longer I suppose..

Zola Martin O'Neill Nigel Adkins

Just looked at the possible managers from the Premier League (according to SSN 2 have applied) and the only ones I can realistically see dropping from top flight management to League 1 are Roberto Di Matteo, Roberto Martinez & Ian Holloway. Apart from those, there are no others IMO who would resign and come here.
-
I've said since the start that I believe it'll be Zola and Clarke and I still believe that it will be them. But, if it's Adkins, he'll have my 100% support and I feel that he could turn out to be a very low key but clever appointment by Cortese. Whoever it is, let him do what he wants in the loan market, get in who he needs and get this squad playing together and winning by doing it in the "Southampton Style"!!

Think you might see Puncheon/Guly play off Lambert today in either a 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1. I can't see Connolly playing another game. -------------------Davis----------------------- -- Butterfield -- Martin -- Fonte -- Harding Puncheon - Hammond - Schneiderlin - Dickson ------------------ Guly-------------------- -----------------Lambert-----------------
-
What's this info then? Im interested.

I agree with a move for Adkins. He seems like a well respected man and has done a superb job with Scunny. With extremely limited funds they've had 2 promotions and a relegation. I'd love to see what he could do with us with a bit of financial backing!
-
I think he'll be missed. He's a very good coach and when he came in, we were leaking goals and he managed to shore up the defence. But if he's been stupid then... bye bye!

I'd like a PM

Premier League Snooker in Southampton tonight unfortunately! It would be interesting with him at St Mary's though.
