  1. Don’t you think it’s interesting that all those reasons have nowt to do with the way we played pal?

    Redmond

Have you seen Shane Long play pal?
  3. Bet the jury was from Maidstone where that stuff is considered horseplay.
  4. Knees of a 75-year old.
  5. Luckily for his reputation among the fanbase, Rickie’s legs had gone by the time the scousers came sniffing. Saved him having to throw his toys out of the pram to force a move as we were more than happy to cash in on him.

Are you going charlie? The forum needs straight-shooters like you - plus you don’t have a ST.
  7. You’re obviously not a ‘proper drinker’.
  8. Gabbi = target man
  9. If you think Ings poses no more injury risk than any other player (and I thought he'd just been unlucky till I saw the injuries he picked prior to joining Liverpool), then you're clearly on the wind-up. Again, to repeat, its perfectly consistent to rate the player but have concerns about the structure of deal if, as reports suggest, the club has little protection in the event of an injury. Not a particularly difficult position to understand unless you're being obtuse.
  10. Calm down, old boy. Very few are against Ings as a player; just wary of the injury risk he presents, if as reports suggest we're obliged to buy him.

    Redmond

Very good second half - seemed to coincide with him playing more narrow and picking the ball up in deeper positions.
  12. Glad to see you're continuing your rich pre-season form of posting utter w**k. Who said you can't learn anything from pre-season, eh?
  13. Yep its a 12 digit code and I've added it to the end of the smash link you provided, having added a M3U URL in the gse iptv app but nada. Have sent them an email.
  14. Trying to set this up - paid through paypal and all I've been sent is a profile ID which doesn't look anything like the unique number here. Suggestions?
  15. Fair play only to an extent. The vast majority on here could see the 3 CBs wasn’t working during preseason; yet Hughes went into the season with it. We should have been dead and buried by the time he changed things. Anyway water under the bridge if he’s now learned his lesson.
  16. Formation didn’t help him, so hard to infer too much. But agree he’s a limited player despite the theological attachment to him by some.
  17. Thank f**k you’re not manager larry.
  18. Let’s wait and see - similar comments were made about Wesley Shîte after his first game or two. Burnley’s shïthouse tactics and Chris Wood were bread and butter for him. Let’s see how he fares against quicker forwards or players running at him. Nonetheless encouraging start.
  19. Not sure what position Redmond was occupying after the change but appeared to play deeper and more central and looked significantly better for it. Much more encourging second half - and hopefully we now ditch the three at the back. Hoedt and Stephens, in particular, seemed clearer about their jobs. That said, Burnley definitely tired after their midweek and first half exertions.
  20. We had some good chances against Burnley last season at home. Their keeper kept them into it. We beat them 3-1 under Puel. This performance has been garbage - who concedes 60% possession at home to Burnley? Their keeper has had nothing to do except a routine save from Lemina. We came into the game as the half went on but only because the bar was so low. Our buildup play remained frenzied and Burnley still had the better chances.
  21. You learn nothing from preseason.
  22. Still fancy us to win this.
  23. As long as we have little pace or direct running in the side, we are under pressure to play Redmond. That’s as clear today as it was in 2016. Hopefully Ings changes that dynamic but it’s not ideal.
  24. Lemina with the bowfinger look.
  25. Good lad.
