Even better pal: the UK could have all the de facto obligations of EU membership with none of its benefits. Unless he sells chumps like you out.

So the US has effectively shut down the WTO appeals court, meaning the organisation is now toothless. For many it likely means the beginning of the end of the WTO as we know it. This is the same WTO the swivels have been cheerily telling us will guarantee free trade for us outside the EU. All lapped up, of course, by the hard of thinking on here. https://time.com/5746978/wto-appeals-court/ #letsgoWTO

Sounds very far-fetched. Remember we’re talking about Matt Hancock here. https://m.facebook.com/www.JOE.co.uk/videos/437918810458434/

How do you know they went to the same school?
-
Yep. It was an obvious dog-whistle for the bigots and the base with all the plausible deniability that comes with the best dog whistles. Hence the lily-livered whining about the article’s ‘wider context’.

Remember if its not on far-right websites like politicalite that run stories about muslims gang-raping donkeys, its not credible to our Les. What is it about Les and Tuesdays
-
It’s not just money with the NHS; it’s the constant political interference and reorganisation. Senior management may be the visible face of that change and it’s attendant cockups but they are simply attempting to carry out the ambiguous instructions of their political masters.

Number 6: she’s wrong. The story has been confirmed by the hospital, the Chief Executive and the Chief Medical Officer for Leeds Teaching Hospitals. A friendly word of advice: walk away and take a break. You’ve embarrassed yourself over this story and it’s aftermath -the supposed assault or Hancocks aide. Best not to keep muddying the waters pal.

Hung parliament would be ideal - paradoxically if the Tories are going to win, I wouldn’t totally despair if it’s by a crushing majority. One school of thought is that Johnson’s going to sell out the ERG and swivels like Les, LD and other Brexit Party entryists in order to get a deal done by December 2020 -in the process satisfying many of the EU’s demands- and that will be easier to do without a small minority with the numbers to put a gun to his head and bring him down.
-
As I say Les, you really should look into those bloodlines
-
Oh dear
-
That’s a new one to me Les. I never knew that. I thought Johnson was in the opposition given how critical he’s been of the Conservatives record on public services and investment. Btw are you related to Richard Burgon - have you ever traced your family tree?

https://www.ft.com/content/a024eeec-1b08-11ea-97df-cc63de1d73f4 The US is going to have the UK for breakfast in any post-Brexit deal and the chumps and swivels will be positively celebrating it.

Laura K got Batman'd

Not sure she's biased per se. Just think she's not very bright or seemingly very nice - she's a political generalist with neither an eye for policy detail nor a grasp of the big picture (Katya Adler's much better). Her bread and butter rather is access which always comes with a price: throw in an unpleasant competitive streak and you have someone who's a sitting duck to be manipulated.
-
Finally. Probably Fran's had a word in her ear. Better than nothing I guess but I'd prefer she actually did her job.
-
You can forgive little Jamie when he has a rush of blood to the head and giddily posts about what he thinks is another terrorist attack which subsequently turns out to be an innocent car accident. But you expect better from the national media

Peston's been played like a fiddle as well, though, unlike the sociopathic Kuenssberg, he's had the professional integrity (if you can call it that) to apologise. She's just quietly deleted her tweet. Earlier today, she tried to compare Johnson's dissimulation over customs checks in NI with Corbyn's fib over watching the Queen. As one FT journo put it, that was a late but strong bid for False Equivalence Of The Year. Peter Oborne's name-and-shaming that ruffled a few feathers a few weeks ago was pretty mild all things considered.
-
Seems like you, Laura and others on here have been had by CCHQ Don't believe everything you read pal.
-
Though its not as straightforward as Labour vs. Conservative (or even centre-left vs far left) with Brexit cutting across traditional divides. Would you vote for Labour if it was led by David Miliband on the platform of a second referendum? I somehow doubt it.
-
Don't you know Batman and Hypo desperately care about having a credible opposition, the plight of jewish people and the health of our democracy. Nothing more, nothing less. That's the only reason they do it. You should cut them some slack.

Surprised this didn’t get more attention - I had the impression that this place was full of Oskar Schindler types who were deeply passionate about the rise of antisemitism. Guess that’s only true in some cases.

The question is whether this will happen any way or whether it is dependent on the scale of any potential Labour loss. Some would argue that recent reforms have made the party much more member-led, so its fate will be in the hands of activists regardless of the GE result. Its also very simplistic to think "anything other than utter humiliation will result in a “one more heave” strategy from the hard left". From experience, party leaderships will hire an army of psephologists, consultants and analysts to carry out a postmortem that will be able to distinguish the Corbyn effect from the anything-but-Johnson effect -if Corbyn's unpopularity is somehow masked by opposition to Johnson, it will come out in the ensuing analysis. The lessons will be there for those who choose to heed them.
