  2. Not sure what your point is. I didn't say I didn't rate Cedric. He has potential and I hope he carries on his euros form but he generally had a disappointing season - he certainly didn't have the same impact as Mané had in his first season. What a moronic, straw-clutching comparison. Let's not forgot that Koeman dropped him and that by the end of the season very few were clamouring for Martina to be dropped. But I guess Koeman's gone from being the Dutch Master who turned us into one of the stingiest defences in the league and steered us to our highest PL finishes to a pig-faced Judas who was simply playing favourites, right You're painfully out of your depth pal, even at the shallow end of the pool.
  3. Nice try; but as I've pointed out before, the global economy is far from a picture of health -now is the worst time to be embarking on cavalier experiments like Brexit that only increase uncertainty and the UK's exposure to shocks.
  4. You mean as opposed to the dins who rubbish and run players down as soon as they leave, though to be fair your fixation with Mané goes back a lot further. I know it's difficult to admit you're wrong, pal, especially when a player repeatedly makes you look so silly As for Redmond, nobody's claiming he should be an exact clone. Redmond brings different skills and qualities; however it's not unreasonable to hope that he will have a similar impact in the long run, assuming we do not bring anyone else in.
  5. John Terry put him in his PFA team of the season that year. Its also the reason he was linked with club-record moves away from the club after his first season.
  6. Yes - they were; but then again you've always been blinkered about Mané. It's a bit odd pal. Didn't he smile enough for you? Did he refuse to sign your flybe shirt?

  8. Yuki would have been a fan.
  9. Replacing him with Long would appear an improvement but its still a square peg in a round hole solution. Long was OK out wide but was much better when he was played centrally.
  10. VVD - looping cross from Tadic to the far post.
  11. Sure you're not confusing him for Clasie pal?
  12. Looks like ALWAYS SFC has cloned himself.
  13. Neither Jrod or Austin really involved - everything down the sides.
  14. Poor ball hojbjerg, good recovery though.
  15. Nah, too limited on the ball.

  20. Of course, Baldrick, in your little fantasy world anything is possible. You can dream up deals that don't exist or haven't been mooted and pretend that the UK dictated terms to the frogs and krauts and was able to have its cake and eat it. Why stop there? how about the Chinese entirely liberalise their financial sector and give the UK preferential access- that will do wonders for the balance of power in negotiations. In your fantasy world, you're indeed a true visionary
  21. Alas what's being discussed has nothing to do with the UK remaining in the EU, enjoying its current rights while extracting extra concessions but some form of associate membership - effectively the same type of offer made to those in the EEA. Basically, the UK becomes like Norway -and surprise, surprise gets a Norway-type deal. Apart from that Baldrick, your analysis is spot-on
