  1. So utter b*****ks then. By the way, even Sarkozy's highly controversial and politicised numbers suggested that there were only 200,000-400,000 illegal immigrants. Tops. So I have no idea how you've (I) chosen an unreliable estimate to begin and (II) then inflated the number by a magnitude of 6 to 12. I'm afraid you're embarrassing yourself.
  2. 2.5m illegal immigrants in France- Source?
  3. You seem to say this a lot - just wondering if you can put a number on your claims.
  4. Immigration problems caused by the EU? Remind me how many citizens from other EU states are in France?
  5. Not quite. Specifically they largely recovered the ground they lost over the preceding couple of weeks when leave was surging in the polls.
  6. To be precise the FTSE 250 and property trusts are down 8-9%. Unlike the FTSE 100, those companies are smaller and much more domestically focussed.
  7. If Carlsberg did comebacks, you'd be a half of shandy
  8. I think you're overthinking things pal. A very dangerous mix for you
  9. Did I say that? Just to say that by historical standards you've been spoilt rotten and take for granted the benefits of international cooperation. All I do know is that Putin must be absolutely rejoicing this morning.
  10. Yep, you make my point perfectly. You've only ever known a liberal democratic international order, not a continent by ravaged hatred, prejudice and war. So it's easy to play infantile identity politics without any sense of historical responsibility. That goes for Hartlepool and South Wales just as it does any other city or region.
  11. I'd say that is true of most brexiters - too young, rich, complacent and devoid of historical insight to appreciate the benefits of postwar stability.
  12. What the **** are you blathering about. Campaign's over pal. Time to ditch the meaningless soundbites. Four months in you're still probably clueless about what the EU is and isn't. Reminder that the referendum wasnt won on the basis of the evidence and facts.
  13. The global economy was nowhere near as fragile as it is today.
  14. This is 2016 - the global economy is slowing. Excessive government and consumer debt; a tottering China, excess capacity and deflation; weak productivity growth and a lack of investment; and rapidly ageing demographics are just some of the headwinds. This is an unnecessary and damaging shock and is the last thing that the UK and the global economy need at this moment in time.
  15. Nikkei down 8%. Going to be carnage when the FTSE opens.
  16. And when will that be?
  17. And no gloating

  20. Not quite that simple. They decided to offer him another "new and improved" contract when they could have done nothing. After all, Vardy had only recently signed a new contract in February in recognition of the season's achievements. No doubt many clubs would have decided that this was enough and not done anymore.

  23. A quick reality check for you pal. It ain't going to happen in your lifetime. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/may/22/vote-leave-turkey-warning-ignorance-european-realities
  24. And why would someone be accused of being jealous for not being ITK?
  25. At least, he tries to distance himself from the 'project fear' jibe and present a positive and upbeat case, even if it borders on the manic
