Fair play-which college (not that it hugely matters but the world can be a small place)?

Sorted out where you're going to uni yet? Pap - well done on the girl's results in this year of grade deflation of all times.

Is It The Southampton Way or the highway For Nigel Adkins?

Thought so.... -
But this hold-up has nothing to do with the player's 'heart not being in it'.

Moderation, yin-yang, the subtle shades of grey, life's branching complexity...usual **** from the forum's Dalai Lama.

Yep, thought the same. Reports were that Cortese met Betancourt before anybody else, that the two have engineered the move. Whether he's doing our bidding or independently talking is another matter.

You forgot the magic ingredient: Dairylea, the staple of any state-subsidised school lunch. Great for vivid dreams. You know the rest....

He'll be to us what Robinho was to City

Neil Danns can't get into the Leics side. Terrific engine.

With large transactions, it does make it harder -less in terms of the time needed to negotiate than the uncertainty it creates over how much money there is to finance deals, especially if the transaction represents a large chunk of your transfer budget. Hard to be taken seriously if your money is limited and people know you have other preferred options.

Yes and no- we must have a deadline in our head as we need to find other players if this doesn't go through -and the bigger the signing, the more complicated the process. Same is true for Bologna as they need to sign replacements for Ramirez. If anything, they're in a tighter bind time-wise. If it falls through, they're stuck with a wantaway player whereas, in theory, we still have the entire market to choose from.

Who know's he's the most fouled player in Serie A, the fifth most in Europe.

Ramadan's ended and Jaidi's going to tuck into a Nandos - who the f**k knows...

You mean gorkks, ward, fontaine and buttner and any other player who hasn't got a pot to pi $$ in?
-
Lets just sign craig noone, chris burke and albert adomah, get it out of the system and return to reality.

Had reservations about the bottom-tier -£50 to see f**k all, esp as there's usually quite a price difference between the bottom and top tiers at the Etihad - it was only a couple quid on Sunday. In effect, you were overpaying to go in the bottom tier. Fortunately we didn't fill it, so was able to go stand near the disabled section where things were better. Otherwise, given the choice between standing and getting a better view, its a no brainer. The latter everytime.

Just itai mind games - horses for courses if you do business with them. Plenty still to play for. Dominos, it seems, is the closest some on here have come to anything italian.

Moreno was a class act in midfield for Shanghai Shenhua when I saw them earlier this month. Probably on blood money like Drogba and Anelka but stood out nonetheless.

Though that helmet put it on his twitter account under his own name. But point begrudgingly taken.

Iphone + camera + the unaccountable anonymity of the web = piece of cake

Italy also has a transfer window (31 August), so Bologna have a strong incentive to get things done as quickly as possible and put any transfer money to use and sign replacements rather than let it burn a hole in their pocket. The itais are a funny bunch but they wouldn't f**k themselves to make a point. The alternative is that Ramirez stays but that's hard to see -there's too much water under the bridge.

Read some article on him stating: "Upon receiving the ball, he loves driving at opposition players. He completed a total of 81 dribbles last season, the third highest in Serie A, testimony to his technical ability. His quick, mesmerizing feet proved too hard to handle for his opponents, however, as he was the joint most fouled player in Italy and the joint fifth of Europe’s top five leagues, being illegally challenged 105 times". Could definitely do with a bit more directness to our play...

Well that doesn't tally with what NA or Crosby have been saying- they have spoken about moving Lallana to give him more freedom. JWP and Lallana aren't doing the same job as you imply. If anything JWP is more akin to Morgan and has greater defensive responsibilities.
-
Lallana isn't being played as a CM though - where did you get that idea from? He's playing 'in the hole' - v.different from Morgan, Cork, JWP and Davis who have greater defensive responsibilities.
