  1. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands mourning in South East Asia...
  2. Favourite comment on youtube: HAHAHAH U REALLY THINK HE WOULD GO TO SOUTHAMPTON WTF!!! AHHAHHAAH SORRY BOYS BUT THESE KIND OF PLAYERS ARE FOR THE BIG BOYS LOL MrBizzy89 in reply to Naderpa (Show the comment) 8 hours ago
  3. And they say a week is a long time in politics - wonder what it is in mongboard terms. A huge bump to earth blah, blah, blah... Thanks mugs for all the laughs and priceless moments.
  4. A dagenham reject - oh dear gus.
  5. Good replacement for Lallana
  6. Can play on both sides but I've seen him play largely on the left. For a winger, he's got an eye for a goal, so looks dangerous whenever he cuts in.
  7. Boj- Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
  8. Still would have gone to Blackpool.
  9. In the league game? Thought Taylor Fletcher was the standout player on both sides by a country mile.
  10. Their lot dont seem too disappointed provided Oyston doesnt pocket it all. http://fansonline.net/blackpool/mb/view.php?id=1184142
  11. If we're going to go young, I'd prefer to do it with wingers and attackers. Hopefully our CB targets have a bit more experience. Saying that, if we're going to overpay for domestic talent, I'd prefer to spunk money on a British CB though if you believe reports we've been linked with quite a few foreign CBs.
  12. Precisely. MLG in pig-headed, literal-mindedness shocker.
  13. And dont forget Barney played three times for Spurs
  14. So? Were they 27 starts? So indispensable that Holloway saw it fit to loan him out to a L1 side.
  15. £6m -structured or not- is alot of money for the best of the championship - that money would go a lot further on the continent. More proof that English players are poor value.
  16. Nor are Brentford, AFC Wimbledon, Dagenham, Leyton Orient, Barnet- are you saying that if they bought world class players, you wouldnt be surprised as they aren't provincial? You're the one who was arguing that QPR couldnt fill it's 18,000 stadium a few weeks ago, surely a better proxy of its stature and punching power in the transfer market which I guess is what you're tying yourself in knots over.
  17. And why not. You're the catchment equivalent of a daytripping wurzel or a lapsed skate. If you could be persuaded come back to the mongboard, having vowed never to again, anything's possible. Man walked on the moon FACT
  18. The counter-argument is that, unlike others, we don't have an established prem side, so have to spend more to make up the quality gap - in effect, running to stand still.
  19. Even if he's not (though both are AMs and Ramirez can play centrally), Modric will have to be replaced. So whatever Spurs get for Modric will be earmarked to finding a decent replacement. If and after they find one, there maybe very little money leftover and even then maybe more pressing priorities, in particular, signing a goalscorer.
  20. That's the agent talking of course. If I were a Spurs fan, I would possibly want a more proven replacement for Modric given his importance to the side. Ramirez has massive potential but he's not quite at Modric's level yet. Perhaps there are other targets that are...
  21. What Rog? Lambert slow, lethargic and seemingly uninterested? Relax.
  22. On that reasoning, plenty of prem clubs also have 'massive issues'
  23. Like you, think he's overrated though Brighton's system hasn't played to his strengths either.
  24. Didn't Jrod play on the wing for Burnley during the 2010/11 season?
  25. Isn't that just wasting Jrod again, albeit on a different wing?
