Hope his reccy leaves a bit to be desired. I guess you wouldn't want any different
-
Might be a tough night for Lee - think he needs a player to link up with. Would like to see Lambert start just to see how good Lee is under 'test' conditions.
-
I'll say it again - if we're blooding youngsters, Reeves will start ahead of the Ward-Prowse. His performance at Millwall more than justifies another start.
-
The Chargers aren't a bad side - a very stylish side; just defensively lightweight. They made the Ravens look very ordinary last season and gave Green Bay a real run for their money.
-
When Harding was played at RB at Forest, Butterfield was available- he came on I think (Of course, Adkins might just have been sticking to the formula that won at Coventry, a game Butterfield had missed through injury)
-
Terry and June have been reunited - fantastic news.

At least, the OP isn't peddling sh*t like some of the other brummies who genuinely believe they should have had a penalty for Fox's challenge. Dozy c**ts. We were "appalling" in the final third in the same way Brum were gash on the ball and couldn't string a pass together. Which is slightly OTT because the weather was more than an extenuating factor.

Its been edited - initially said "another player who should/might feature tmrw is Sharp" or something along those lines.

The last time our GK had to go off was Hartlepool away in November 2009 -i.e. a while back, so its a black swan, low probability event. The pros and cons of naming 5 outfield players depend on the depth and quality of the squad - no point packing the bench with outfield players if they're dross or don't genuinely give us options like Brighton away. On Saturday, there was or would have been no place for Lee, Chaplow, SDR, another CB etc - strong options and pretty big sacrifices on the slim chance that the keeper will get injured. Still need to be convinced but that kind of back-up as opposed to the blooding youth argument is quite convincing.
-
Should do - hope the Patriots get smashed.
-
Crunch will be what happens now that Guly is back. Or Chaplow. Who starts? How does Punch respond if either has a run of form and keeps him out of the side etc.
-
Falque is cup-tied I think.
-
Are you more optimistic about Sharp? If I remember, you weren't overly impressed when we were linked with him during the summer.
-
Reeves, Hammond, Guly and Lee will defo start. Hopefully, Chappers isn't too far off.
-
Not sure our corners have been that great the last few seasons - remember it got so bad at one point that Lambert was taking them.
-
Agree - most of our good play against Cardiff came from Morgan hitting Richardson with the diagonal ball - shame the crosses were **** I can't think of many players in our team who can lob deft through balls a la Ipswich away either. My problem with Morgan is not that he can't pick a forward pass but that he reverts too quickly to auto-pilot - that wouldn't happen if he had a higher-tempo, box to box midfielder alongside him. Giving him greater responsibility would also up his game - he was fantastic away at Palace when he had to basically carry Ward Prowse.

Look like Brum fans to me.

SFC Used to follow and watch PSG for a bit on account of family but nothing compares with SFC. Really enjoy american football and the Baltimore Ravens in particular- tactically such an immersive and cerebral sport along with the obvious brutality. Cant get into rugby, though. Cricket - was a reasonably good cricketer and got to hang out with the Hampshire first and second XIs a fair bit; but in the last few years only get excited by Test cricket. Will always watch the golf during the majors - the 3rd and 4th days make for fantastic viewing and someone almost always bottles it and has to fight his demons. Otherwise, don't hunt out any particular sports but can easily get into anything that's competitive and has high stakes.

Indeed he did. And we tried our luck quite a bit at Forest but were absolutely woeful from distance ( until we went 3up). Not sure we have the players to hit them from distance, especially in those positions where you get time and space to shoot.
-
Would like us to have shot given our lack of chances BUT The free kick was perhaps too close to goal - in that awkward area where its hard to get the ball up and down The chip to the Fonte at the back stick has worked wonders before, notably against Hartlepool last season
-
Agree, Morgan was one of our best players insofar as the conditions permitted.
-
I thought Schneiderlin settled down very well after a dodgy first few mins- won plenty of tackles and headers. Strange you think Brum were hungrier and always first to the 2nd ball. I must have been watching a different game. Anyway good point - Brum will be more disappointed as the in-form team and having created more chances. Fox misses the Millwall game which he probably wouldnt have played.

Would prefer a draw - Blackpool are a v.good side. Been playing the much better football today. Would not discount them.
