  1. As a Ravens fan, hoping the Texans win. Rather face the Steelers later on at MT Bank than face a potential trip to NE.
  2. Guly is more casual than lazy - there's a difference
  3. True, though Redman isn't bad cover. Steelers have also been less dependent on the running game than for a long time - Brown, Wallace, Cotchery and Miller are all threats in the air. And Broncos ground and pound game will suit Pittsburgh to a tee. If the Steelers can get their admittedly weak pass protection going, the freak show will come to an end...and who knows another Ravens-Steerlers game could be on the cards.
  4. Amex reminds of a poor mans, spatially challenged Stade de la Beaujoire (Nantes ground). Saw PSG there when Nantes were decent. Eventful night on and off the pitch.

Don't know. Can't fault Fox's attitude - is always well up for games (think the skates amongst others). Not aloof like Phillips. Think its his play rather than personality that's the issue. Fact is if Lallana is as good as people suggest, he should be able to adapt to and play with any kind of full back.
  6. Agree - he's also joining us because he fully expects us to be in the Prem next season. If that shouldn't happen, it might affect him.
  7. Been more impressed by McAnuff, though Kebe has more time on his side.
  8. Or a slight variation: Lee Lee wherever you maybe Buying used panties from a vending machine Could be worse Could be a skate F**king your sister on your council estate And yes its a stereotype about Japanese being pervs and the eclectic range of vending machines you'll find in Shinjuku and Shibuya

    Lallana

Noticed at Brighton that he needs to collect the ball while he's running at pace. Maybe its because he doesn't have the greatest acceleration from a standing start; but he looked better in the 1st half on Monday precisely because others were involving him in give and gos -and giving him the opportunity to pick up the ball in mid-flight.
  10. Here's hoping Jaidi clatters him in training - give him a proper welcome to English football.
  11. Or Fonte with Guly. You need to have a forceful character to make it in an English dressing room and Japanese players tend on the quiet side. Guess Adkins has to figure out ways, without the natural benefit of language, to draw the lad out of his shell without embarrassing him.
  12. He speaks very little. Probably going to need quite a bit of help adjusting.
  13. In there before you mate. Even chatted over coffee with the old boy
  14. He was three others, an older guy who I assume was his agent and two older looking women.
  15. The horse told me he was saddling up for the Leicester game.
  16. But an extremely knowledgeable one with a keen interest in our league position
  17. Yesterday was a change from the type of football we've been playing recently and I thought we were better for it. The football was much more varied and played at a higher tempo. Direct football works but not when the ball is passed sideways for an eternity before it is released, CB's have Lambert in their back pocket (by fair means or foul) and nobody's close enough or got the dynamism to run beyond Lambert. And all of those things have been present in recent weeks.
  18. I don't think we've been walking it in, at least in terms of trying to score the perfect goal. We've been pretty direct, at least since the Burnley game when we turned the game around by hitting Lambert on the flanks. Same was true at Cardiff. I think we've been going more and more direct and have struggled whenever Lambert's struggled in the air. That's why another target man is a must. We struggle because we don't gamble enough and don't have the midfielders who can attack from deep.
  19. Heathrow Terminal 3's finest
  20. Nope from the lad himself over a coffee.
  21. First time. From the horses mouth.
  22. If picked, could be available as soon as the Leicester game.
  23. Basically a done deal. Nuff said. Btw it's his first time in England let alone Soton.
