I play my FM through steam so pressume it updates automatically? Just looked at my game status and it reads as 12.0.0 or something like that. Have I got the new update or not? Usually it would read 12.0.4?

To a degree but I've met Noel Blake on a number of occasions and met him over the weekend at a UEFA coaches conference.

Can I just reiterate, this isn't a 'Rickie should be playing for England' this was during a 30/40 minute conversation with a member of the coaching staff.

Yes, of course. Does he cuddle you after?

Nothing wrong with Harding, has his moments but nine times out or ten, most players do. Anyone remember Niemi's 'worst' every game for us? Fox is better, Harding is good.

Good choice sir.

Well you may want to show them where they can get some Ma Strum tee's and polo's on the sly!

I’ve got an interesting story for ya’ll. When I was about 8/9 years old, my Dad was offered free tickets to Poopey home game back in League One(Champ) he had to collect me from home from my mum as he was at work. I knew I was going to a football match and had a few ‘kits’ Saints, Man U and Newcastle GK shirts and an England kit. Obviously being at the tender age of 8/9 I assumed football was football so put on my Saints shirt under my coat. Well at the game, we were sat pitch side and sat next to two very lovely ladies aged 60+. It was a bright sunny day and I was boiling hot so removed my coat, to my Dads horror he soon realised I had my Saints shirt on!! He was approached by a steward requesting I covered my shirt up or would be asked to leave. With that, both of the ladies turned around and told the steward to leave me alone and let me wear my Saints shirt and ‘support’ Pompey. Apparently my Dad was receiving a fair few threats from your typical skate asbo fan as he took me up the stair to the toilet, all I could hear was the most frightening rendition of ‘Scummer’. Of course I didn’t understand what the feck was going on and who ‘scummer’ was aimed at. Now my old man is a sensible bloke, wouldn’t do anything to upset anybody, including the skates, he got me to turn my shirt inside out (**** load of good that did) and now I think about it, I can’t imagine how intimidating that must have been for him. So they are the same as any other side: they have their asbo thugs, arm chair fans, genuine supporters. But: they laughed at us!

The reasons Matt Taylor has a problem with us: We turned him down at Luton He played for the skates He gnoshed off Will Young...apparently

My Reading fanatic mate, swears by him. Reckons he is easily the best keeper in the league. Could be biased of course.

YES! I have seen some god awful dressed people at SMS, either looking like an extra from Football Factory or a presenter from Time Team.

I have an under 10's grassroots team on Hayling. We don't have a great catchment area and in Portsmouth teams such as Moneyfields, East Lodge, Havant and Waterlooville usually lead the way with the standard of players. We finished second in our league, so secured another successive promotion, more importantly playing fantastic football. I really emphasise playing short simple football and from the back, which seeing a team of medium ability execute nine out of ten times is very satisfying. Such a ****ter with the season finishing so early for us but with the plans of eleven aside/nine aside, it gives us plenty of time to start the relevant training. We must be doing something right as we have recently had parents bring their kids from ‘stronger teams’ in Portsmouth down to Hayling to specifically play for us (I do worry it may be influenced by my job and parents seek to exploit it). On the down side we do have a ‘B’ team that are mainly new to football, which I also had to manage, which was manic. They wasn’t the strongest footballers but loved the game and I had to get them playing. Unfortunately, I can’t find anyone to take a second team on and to save any messing around or confusion, I have to tell eleven or so players they can’t play for their local team. Horrible potential position. Looking to play some teams from Southampton over the summer and will enter the Warsash Wasps and Crofton Saints tournaments.
