Closer to 40 than 30 (42 but I like that previous stat - it's 100% accurate and tells you all you need to know about the importance and value of statistics...) Lived closer to another Hampshire team but my cousin gave me a second hand Saints shirt and I was hooked - every Panini album from 76 to 81, every Saints player, spares all over the back of the bedroom door, next to the Action Man wallpaper. I didn't actually go until I was about 12? We beat Liverpool 2-0 on a Friday night and Wallace outjumped Hansen to head home! Having scored an incredible scissor kick. First away game? No idea. Now living and working in Surrey, would love more time to go more often but live with four women... on the run from the wife! (Actually, that last bit is a lie, she is one of the four...) Go to most home games with Goalie66, who I met on here!

Who/how?? This cannot be allowed to happen - otherwise it's favouritism.

Great result for us. It will be squeaky bum time all the way to the line! If you're not enjoying this, then you have lost track of what's important in life and need a year or so in Tibet if you can find the blue flower on the way up! We're going to win this league because it's DESTINY!!

Fecking ridiculous comparison. We're not in the play-offs. We're top. Let's see where we are in six weeks.

Er, like we did on Saturday?? Guess what, sometimes you draw football games... If winning was so easy, everyone would do it all the time wouldn't they. It ain't over until the fat lady sings and right now, she isn't even fat!! In fact, she's still single... Come back and ***** when she's croaking.

Bugger - can't win them all but win the next two and the world will be a happier place.

No, thank Adkins or Lambert.

The forum allows bastard but not ******??

Have we scored?? I've been transfixed by knockers!!!

People really slam the accuracy of shooting based on radio commentary?? Mental.

Hello?? Is this Goonersville.com...

If you ever hit a volley like Rickie's, then you could say they were all crap. I would simply say we won...

Hammond, Guly, Harding and Connolly have ALL played regulary this season. The only ONE who hasn't is Jaidi - who we all knew was too old. So the point is valid. Our squad and regularly our first team has been the same this season as last with two changes - Hooveld for Jaidi and Fox for Harding. Which IS very few changes...

It doesn't really prove that at all, does it?? Our whole team were below par. The manager has said the preparation was poor. And we still ground out a win. That is the worst I have seen us play all season, and Leeds were bang up for it under a new manager. If you're basing next season's team needs on one game, why not base it on our home game against Leeds?? I spent the weekend with Charlton fans on a golfing trip and went to watch the Addicks play the Cherries. They asked me how many changes we made to our League One team to be top of the Championship. And truth is we have made very few. Here is the team that beat Brentford 3-0 away in League One at the end of last season: Davis, Richardson, Fonte, Jaidi, Harding, Lallana, Hammond, Chaplow, Guly, Lambert, Connolly Can these players cut it in the Premiership? For my money, they at have at least earned the opportunity to try...

No one can say Milan doesn't hold a grudge... he's getting Megson back for Leicester...

Did you see her old lady?? ****ed myself.

One Vicky Pollard, there's only one Vicky Pollard...

Given that I go to away games when I'm not working or with my family, or horse-racing, why would I snipe about them?? But I do think your little man syndrome of having to prove how 'hard and football' you are just a touch immature, don't you think? I don't remember a trophy being awarded for best support, sorry if they've changed the rules recently. I would rather we won games with fans who want to be there present. If there a lot of them there congratulations to all of them. But funnily enough it won't get us promoted, which I'm guessing is what ALL fans want... Feck me, this board is hardly worth it sometimes.

Oh I see the NHS is still doing well with those sense of humour bypasses...

Describe the typical 'ordinary match going supporter'? I'm guessing we're talking about white, working class ex miners...
-
Talking about which, how is Rob Green playing when he got a straight red two weeks ago?? I went away he was banned for three games, I watch the League Show and he's in goal!!
-
Now that I would love - I still need a 'localish' Derby, what with Pompey either being relegated or going out of business...
-
Quite. The reason Man United take so many away fans, by the way, is that actually, the United fans at Elland road live in Menston, Skipton, Bradford... I would rather we beat Leeds 1-0 in an empty stadium than lost 4-3 in front of 35,000 travelling fans.

This weekend's fixtures are MASSIVE. If they go the right way (we win, Hammers lose) the tide has turned again and the future is entirely in our hands. We'd be five points clear and they'd only have a game in hand. Taking off my red and white specs, this would be a more accurate reflection of our genuine class and season form. BRING IT ON!!!

Er, is this because Pearcey has written the team sheet on his fags and actually he's called up Lambert and Butler...
