I'm just going to head to Marylebone/ Wembley now, I thought Clapham would be a good shout early doors before heading up, as I live in that area, but the CLJ - MKC line (which stops at Wembley Central) is of course closed on Sunday, typical, so I can't be arsed to come up with anything else!

Cheers, we'll just end up in some pubs in that area in that case.

My plan is Borough Market for food and drink, Marylebone for some drinks then depending on the atmosphere there either staying there til about an hour before KO or heading to the Green Man to take in the atmosphere. (We have some under 18's in our group so hopefully that won't effect our options). I really don't understand all the avoiding the face paint and replica shirt nonsense, whilst I'm not going to turn up dressed like the red and white Westwood in the Northam, I'm going to want to soak up all the great vibes of the day, it's the first time in my lifetime I'm getting to go to Wembley for a proper final so I'm going to make the most of it, not hide away in a quiet pub. EDIT: As the market is closed just going to do Clapham Junction for a few and a fry up at Jacks, then get the train straight to Wembley Central from there - or not because the line appears to be closed... NEW PLAN TIME

1 day of school vs a memory of a lifetime, no brainer. People take their kids out of school for 2 weeks for a holiday in Tenerife, half a day of school isn't going to mean your kid fails school and becomes a junkie...

If I was coming up from Southampton I'd try the first train or failing that one of the unofficial coaches (I've put my nephew on the one ScottishSaint79 posted). Luckily for me it's a relatively local one and it'll be a quick tube to Baker Street to join the fun then another up to Wembley, what happens after that depends on the result!
