Sure, its a TV panel game with some very funny people most notably, Frankie Boyle and Hugh Dennis. They run a lot of repeats on Dave and are required recordings IMO.

I don't think the bookies will be offering odds even if I have to sit between Crouch and McMenemy and behind Gaffer and Scally.

ESB they do have the internet even though the men wear woollen skirts - and we know why that is, don't we.

That's a revelation and a half and I thought I was holding back in admitting I supported the ousting of Lowe in 2006. Is NickH the only man left standing who was proven right over what now seems a lifetime ago?

I am a regular visitor to both areas perhaps its the grey tower blocks and leaden skys not to mention the pebble dashed walls that I find depressing. Now you've done it I don't know if I'm in Airdrie and Coatbridge or Dartford and Erith.

FWIW John I think Crouch has made more than one mistake but his money is welcome nonetheless even though like his past promises his optimisim may simply be false hope.

OK - off to watch Mock The Week

I agree, nothing wrong with the city centre and out towards Ibrox and the armadillo. I prefer it to Edinburgh. I also enjoy a good episode of Taggart but it doesn't mean i would like to live there.

On that basis alone difficult to assess who is the comedian.

For a minute there I thought you were suggesting no club ergo no argument.

Rangers are really in the mire and given his connections with the country and club not to mention the size and potential then you could see they would be a more attractive proposition than ourselves. If Sambosa is correct then Southampton Airport and Flybe are great for flying to Glasgow and given a choice who would live in Scotland's central belt? Makes the inside of the M25 look green and pleasant. Perhaps Souness could set us up as a feeder club?

Maybe the best we can hope for is an ununited Utd. I apologise for my ilk perhaps we should be cleansed from the forum by threats and an internet search engine?

Nice sermon John but it would help if you practised what you preached. If I remember you chose not to give Lowe a second chance and refused on his presence alone not to renew your two season tickets or maybe that was just a convienient excuse to help you pay for your daughter's school fees? Sorry if that was a cheap shot but clearly you wrote Lowe off after 1 mistake so forgive me if I think you are making up this patronising and sugary nonsense as you go along.

Thanks for the clarification as usual.

Thank you Weston. As I said in my original post we all should be grateful but I personally will also remain mindful of those unknown if any conditions and would like to know if any salary cuts have been agreed especially as the 'players motivation' issue has gone away. I can't though correlate your recent posts on other threads with the term 'lifeline' which suggests hope as you have already worryingly suggested the patient's condition is terminal making any loan, donation, fund-raising somewhat futile.

Read the posts on other threads from some well respected posters (who usually do not agree with me btw) and you may have trouble trying to correlate why a successful businessman is apparently simply paying for the electricity on the life support machine of SFC. Something doesn't make sense hence my opinions and questions. Be careful when you wink you will be temporarily blinded.

Thank you for highlighting I used the word if.

Please don't patronise me or pedal your pedantic clever play with words. You know what I mean't when I replied to your open question 'I don't know what connection you have with the club?' If you read my posts in the past you would know my position as a supporter but you choose not to believe it is your concern and I accept that. I am well aware of the gravity of the situation and trying to equate Crouch's 'investment' with the views of one or two posters on here who frankly I hold in higher regard than Crouch and who have consistently acted without agenda. Is Crouch the epitome that a fool and his money are easily parted or is this a calculated risk with a decent chance of success? I don't serve to distance myself from anybody but simply desire to challenge the views and actions of others that I don't understand or can't find any reason for their views regardless of my own opinion. You noticeably, for one who knows Crouch well, refused to answer my earlier questions about his 'donation' and if he insisted on salary cuts and the terms, if any, of his 'donation'. Also you did not respond to the question that if he can flash the cash now why couldn't he have done it before administration when the risks of liquidation in the current climate was very high? Not to mention that you say he loves the club and the staff but does that mean he loves them more than the 50 he laid off, who worked for one of his companies or one at least one he was involved with? We are 59 minutes into the 11th hour as far as I can tell and is this donation just a throwaway amount so he can turn around and say in the post-mortem and final analysis I did my bit and tried? Therefore, able to put himself above any potential criticism of his involvement (or lack of) pre-adminstration. Patronise me, insult me and join in the charcter assasination I really don't mind and i'll respond if I have to but please answer the questions in detail as you know the man well. Oh I did thank him in my original post but I'm still not convinced IMO this is no more than some kind of damage limitation exercise to his own reputation.
