Well, on BST it's now 9pm and so clocks are already forward but not sure how I'm going to sleep tonight.... Half a big sleep until the game - woo hoo!

Even if Carlisle do go down the M40 / A40 there are a hell of a lot less of them than there are of us coming from Southampton so I'm going A40!

Huh ? Not unless they are very very lost. Carlisle fans will come straight down the M1 into London or may go A404 - no where near the A40. As I said above, do not go M4, take the next junction up, the A40.

Ah - get yourself a new Sat Nav !! If there's not too many people reading this thread then suggest a little local knowledge goes a long way - go M25 up to A40 (don't go on the M4 / A4). Good luck!

Cheers for the warning Pilchards. Did you go M4 or A40? I used to work in the Diageo building close by for a year near Hanger Lane / Park Royal and avoided the M4 like the plague as it gets completely clogged up around that way...

Yup - mine have 'DUPLICATE' on them as well - lucky they were delivered as the TO had franked the envelope upside down and with most of the frank going on the window and had rubbed off. Now to find a pair of binoculars for the day.

It is a bit 'book-like' to be fair so I'm glad I got mine before the game so I'm not lugging it around the pubs after!

If you've got a lady partner then I'd suggest spraying the areas with her perfume. This usually deters them as it smells like their owner (serious). Alternatively, you might find they sh*t on her head when she's asleep... (Ignore the alternative, spraying the perfume does usually work!)

Suggest you take her to the vets to (a) get checked out and (b) to see if she's been microchipped. If she hasn't then you can live in comfort that the previous owners weren't bothered about her getting lost. If she has, then you can trace the owners and also go to the local rescue centre and get yourself a nice replacement and teach it to lick whatever you like (erk)
