Awww - crap for you mate. Good luck on the job hunting - love the blogs and I hear there might be a job going as editor at the Echo soon so chuck yer application in , I'll second it
-
=D> and you're proud of that support? Shy lad
-
Here you go IM - we're looking for (very aptly!) 4th May 1985 - Saints v Ipswich tractorsaint@googlemail.com if you've used up your three posts for the day - cheers
-
Um, it's Safari I think - Mac OS, not Windows
-
Damn - was going to register http://www.afcportsmouth.co.uk/ but it would seem that someone beat me to it Could be the site of the future !! Someones also registered portsmouthafc.co.uk - spose they are just getting ready for the inevitable. So, what other internet sites should we pre-empt and register now then so we can either point them at the SWF or sell them on for huge profit at a later date? http://www.pompeyafc.co.uk http://www.frattonpark-asylum.co.uk http://www.frattonpark-municipal-dump.co.uk http://www.frattoncaravanpark.co.uk

Indeed - damage already been done though, spokesperson from the club said that they hadn't paid the bill...
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNquznlBkr8 (but is on the Pompey thread in the Lounge)
-
Just uploaded to YouTube for those at work
-
As some have said - Why? ST holders have a few days to claim their tickets don't they so why is there a need to get to the ticket office rather than phone / web?
-
SkySports just confirmed the website situation - woo hoo!!!
-
http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/ = the official site. What's http://www.pompeyfc.co.uk/ ? Could be they are upgrading / scraping the old official site and putting it up on that link instead? Hmm
-
Have to completely agree with that - the last thing that you would want to lose is a portal to your fans and non-fans. I'm of the opinion that it's either a) a massive technical ****-up by the hosting company b) the end of Poopey (as someone has said in another thread, how are they going to purchase tickets online for the Saints game?) I'll go for b.
-
Not really knowing how this usually works but are the Skates prices going to be the same as ours? I have tried to check the Pompey website but unfortunately it appears they haven't paid their bill So, is this game really going to go ahead...

Done Who's going to let the Daily Echo know
-
Cheers IM - will check with her tonight when she gets in and let you know. A very decent offer from you - thanks!
-
Proper lol - was wondering why there was no update about the Saints ticket situation yesterday, looks like someone hasn't been paying the hosting company (allegedly obviously) Hosted by parklogic.com - who's going to drop them a line as ask them whether there's a problem with the site?
-
Trying to help my girlfriend get all her programmes from around 1981 - 1985 season. Can't believe how cheap the missing programmes are on ebay, they are going for around 50p or so (plus P&P) and impressed that they are available. We're only now missing one programme from all the sets for the home games

Genius!! Just bought my four although I had to put a different customer number against each of the four. It went through though! Not sure if those that have ordered more than their allocation will get them. Will be interesting to see if that happens!
-
Hold on - I can still buy tickets online for the Hartlepool match on the 13th Feb - is that game straight after the Pompey game?
-
I *might* have got it wrong tonight Might have been something I saw on the OS that made me think they wouldn't do online... And, anyhow, the allocation of one per ST ticket means that the sh*te online ticket system won't allow me to get all four tickets tomorrow and, even if you could, you can't get them in your ST seats so I'll be calling tomorrow and sorting out the four tickets with human interaction!
-
If you're talking about the Pompey game I didn't think they were selling tickets online ? It's phone line only..

Alternatively they're all down the pub having a few beers watching the Manchester derby cos there's no news that ever breaks on a Wednesday night -

IIRC 'Cup-Tied' is when a player has already played in the same competition for a different side. Hence, Fonte hadn't playing in the JPT as he hadn't played in that comp but couldn't play in the FA Cup as he'd already represented his previous team. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cup-tied > -
I always do - your point is?
