Not exactly the way I remember it going, and if I remember rightly it wasnt necessarily the inclusion of Shaw who I admit has done incredibly well, but then it was a gamble, you couldnt have known a 17 yr old would have been so consistant and Id also like to point out that he is getting more cover then Fox ever did as well as Cork making so much of a difference. But of course, its because we are all just morons. I really dont agree with Boruc over Davis though, Davis looks really poor, Boruc I think will be ok with a bit of confidence. To get a left back better than Fox will cost around 3m and wages, plus they wont be happy on the bench. Fox is decent enough for the time being unless a bargain appears

They have some very good players that dont get on with each other very well, and many are the old adage of typical Mercenaries, Fernandes and Hughes were probably pleased to have grabbed them but in reality many were players looking for a last pay day. Granero is a top player, Diakite on his day is decent, they need CBs desperately. If they go down itll be a disaster, no relegation clauses, high wages, this is the reason teams need a decent transfer comittee

That sort of thing shows either that QPR are not attractive right now OR that Fernandes doesnt want to put his hand in his pocket any more this season. If thats the case it is game over IMO despite how good a manager Harry is, who, I have heard through the grapevine thinks he may have made a poor decision going to QPR and the situation (in fighting etc) is worse than he thought

I can see why they would want him if he were to recapture the form which took him to the EPL, is he not off to the ACON with Morocco though ? Atleast I thought he was Moroccon anyway ? I have a feeling that WHU and Liverpool know more about Carroll and his injuries then is being let on TBH

And if rumours are to be believed Forest are overlooking Sharp for a bid for Bechio, who again has more to his game and I reckon coukd do the business in the prem, if this happens its more evidence that teams dont have confidence he can do it in the prem. Are you really saying you would play Sharp up top on his own DPS ? J Rod will get you goals too, if he had an extended run Im confident of his quality. FWIW if Sharp had pace then I would say yes for a prem chance, but he doesnt so I cant see him ever making an impact here.

Well, Mayuka is reportedly a hot prospect and has pace which offers us a different option to what we already have. He has only really had one game upfront for us and was a little rusty but I liked his running against Sunderland. J Rod looks like he will be a good player for me, scores goals at champ level like sharp but has more to his game. Sharp offers you a poacher, no more, and I dont think he will fit into the fluid front line that we have. He wont come back in Jan, he wont come south, he wont be happy not making the bench and he hasnt shown me any different to the day I wasnt bothered we loaned him out.

Forest have cash now, they got taken over in the summer, so have cash to spend. Sharp realistically isnt good enough for us, he is essentially a one dimensional player and we have enough firepower here atm in J Rod, Mayuka and Rickie who are all better than him, if we DO move for a striker Id want him to be better than we have As for McGolddrick, quelle surprise he has ended up a decent enough champ player, he really wasnt that bad at us if I remember he was the whipping boy, as was a certain mr Lallana back then

I see mental is back So basically, what your saying is despite Kelvin costing us X amount of goals, snd Boruc possibly one, you want Boruc dropped as he is effectively useless, despite a track record of being decent at the top level. Yet, you want Kelvin back in as its only a confidence issue, and he needs an extended run in the team ? Despite evidence that last time he was in the prem he was useless. Oh snd on another note, Boruc has had two games, how many has Kelvin had ? If we are using he extended run arguement

If I had to accomodate one of Ramirez or Lallana then I am sorry my choice will generally fall into the Ramirez camp 9/10 as IMO he is slowly beginning to find his form in the english league Completely agree with his words in his interview aswell, I reckon he is going to suddenly click and tear someone a new a hole, Lallana is good but he will never be the player Gaston is destined to be IMO Luckily we can generally accomodate both but agree at times we will need to have a stronger defence against a decent flanking team. (Lb -lw pairing etc)
