  1. Now that was awesome and filling, made the dumplings as well in the end and worked out fantastic. My first foray into one pot cooking, will prob make a chicken casserole next as i like a bit of chicken on the bone. Yeah we could do with a cooking forum. IMO
  2. Yeah not waiting that long swanny
  3. That would be a death wish, plus she doesn't like anything with flavour, she has just cooked herself plain spaghetti and qourn.
  4. Cheese and parsley dumplings done
  5. Never had liver, but sounds good. Bacon and brie between two big fat tiger bread slices is a winner mind.
  6. No, not really, just getting a few ideas. Tommorows food related thread will be on sandwiches
  7. Prob just have a big lump of casserole, and mop up with some bread
  8. So thats a no to rice then ??
  9. Hmm, was thinking of doing some dumplings but can't be arsed. It's a beef casserole btw, got some cubed aberdeen angus that i couldn't wait to use. Hopefully it will be nice and tender, the smell is making me go crazy but it won't be ready until about 6ish. Got some potato, onion, parsnip, mushrooms and carrot in there. Could do some brocolli, though crusty bread sounds awesome.
  10. Hmm, it has potato in it already
  11. Watching the england game last night got me so excited that i am going to be there, i seriously seriously cannot wait, tin pot paint trophy or not it's gonna be a great day out. And hopefully a better result than the last time i saw us in the final
  12. ....what the hell do i serve it with ?? Do i just have it on it's own ?? Or do i do a little bit of rice ??
  13. I guess the demo no longer works ?
  14. 2-0 Lambert and lallana The pitch will be sh*t and we will struggle but we will scrape through
  15. I think that was his remit TBH, i agree he does usually drift but last night he spent the majority of the first half actually within the center of the park. That in my mind is not drifting but a tactical decision. I prefer him to Lampard, if you want to build a team around him, he puts more into a team than Lampard does, Lamp's did manage to find himself in two goal scoring positions however and spurned chances he would have usually taken but really that was it. Too many times have i seen lampard disapear in an England shirt. As for rooney i think a lot of last nights marauding was because he struggled to get the ball.
  16. Poor start from england, Terry looked a little dodgy but i guess thats what you get when you get boo'd all night. Baines had a good game considering he had no protection down the whole of the left flank. Lampard was poor all night and when carrick came on we looked a lot better, barry was able to get forward as well and support better, carrick is a great passer of the ball. Brown and Theo didn't work all night, i agree i just don't see theo as a winger at all and IMO i think that he needs to leave arsenal to improve now. SWP i don't like him but he played well, Crouchie did V.Well when he came on, i think we needed him to start, he is better than any other tall strikers we have and the more i watch defoe the more i think he adds nothing to the team, great goal scorer but nothing more.
