Why not ?? IMO (and i am not a ST holder as i couldn't afford it this year btw) season ticket holders should get priority and preferential treatment to an extent, 2 tickets per ST is not unreasonable. After all, these are the guys that put money into the club at the start of the season and are garantueeing a purchased seat for 46 games

ST holders got a fair share of 2 each (which i think is perfectly fair) and those that bought a ticket to the area finals got 1 each ?? What exactly is unfair about that ?

I think that you are right, there is definately a lot of nurture involved and believe that dysfunctional families does have an effect on childrens behaviour, but IMO right and wrong is naturally ingrained in us.

I never pander the the arguement of 'he came from a broken home' etc. And i really don't understand it. I was explaining my point to the girlfriend the other day when we saw a 6 year old trying to toe punt a couple of chickens (little b*stard) the missus said it was all the parents fault etc etc however every time someone went into the garden the boy stood and looked as if to say 'i am innocent' Everyone knows the morality of right and wrong, and if it can be proven beyond reasonable doubt that they have commited a crime of such horrific preportions (i.e Bulger) then why waste time and money attempting to rehabilitate ?? It clearly does not work. And if you have the mindset to callously take a life then why would should you be given a second chance ?? How many chances did poor jamie bulger and his family get for redemption ?

TBF Apline does come across as a bit negative at times but i have never thought of him as a WUM, he has an opinion and sticks to it, another thing i have never seen him do is openly attack a poster without reason. It's a shame that these days he gets slammed for anything he writes where as at times if it is something I or another poster makes it can be seen as valid points. At times i think the RTG brigade are as bad as the negative posters with the fact that they never see anything unless it is there view. Word of advice, the first step to posing a good arguement is understanding the opposing view, simply disregarding it makes you no better and if not worse than those you argue against.

TBH i still have a belief you are the mercurial photocopier salesman that lends his hat to all that are in trouble (for a little limelight) and this thread sums up the attention seeking nicely. To keep it short, i am a fan in the UK so have no personal reason to take offence but i have never read a post on the main board that is more interesting than anything the 'ex pats' contribute.
