Quality quality quality !!!!!!!! Though now Juve fans realise what it is like to follow saints at times !!

I have managed to put more weight on in one week in the hotel with a £30 a night allowance then i lost in the month before !! Boll*cks
-
Yeah, fair point, i no longer wish to support a team with any competetive capacity as we could have had no team. Silly me, who are we playing sat ?? Not that i care what the result would be, we might not have had a team and all.

As quick as he was drunk he has become sober again. WOW

This, though TBH i feel we probably have the best first 11 in the division. Sort the consistancy out over the run in and get a decent end of the season, this would then give me the view point that we will be contenders for next season. Otherwise, i just can't see how you can argue that we are ??
-
Give over ??? I am trying to make a reasoned viewpoint and not just completely disregard an oppposing opinion. I am not getting at you really, just that for every so called negative there are the RTG's that are just as bad if not worse as they believe that they are on the moral high ground. You said you owe a business, so therefore you must know about KPI's in the same way that if you look at saints as a 5 year project then there will be milestones. My point is for every long term goal that you set out to achieve to manage it correctly and so be in a position to push that goal to completion you need to have control over the short term, and look at that short term as a judgement to reach the long term achievement. NC obviously looked at this short term and realised we could be promoted quicker, thus shortening the timescales, he spent a lot of money and still missed out. We gave it a go, we failed, we also had a terrible start to the season and have been inconsistant ever since, that is not good enough, and ok we were in the sh*t and all that boolacks but for the first 10 games ?? Terrible. I would love instant success we all would, but i am not naive, equally i look at what we have done and believe we could have done better, is that not a fair point ??
-
And i bet you all the money in your pocket that football is a totally different animal to a normal business environment and one that acts under an entirely shorter timescale. A bad season can equate to millions of lost turnover, so my question is that having spent a large amount of money and agreeing that his main KPI was to i don't know, in business terms secure a major customer and so a major source of income, and due to a lot of inconsitancies you lost out, would you not begin to question his position ?? I know i would. Yes Leibherr may be taking a long term view, but if he is any sort of business man or has any sort of business acumen he would have certain performance indicators along the way, and if they are not met than changes would be made to ensure that long term goal. Like i said, i don't want to see the back of Pardew but i am not too blind to see this season is a dissapointment, and responded to what was IMO a pretty pathetic post.

Something that is inconsistant is always hard to understand and fathom. Personally i think Pardew has his work cut out, and i hope it is sorted by the start of next season. I am gutted we are spending another year in this poxy league.

So, i'll ask a question, who really is worse than a negative ??? Hmm ?? I'll tell you, it's posters like you, posters that pretend to take the moral high ground by being the ever optimists, and slamming any of the more realistic opinions (or in your world negative). I am guessing you have never been a business man ?? Or never been in any sort of management capacity ?? For your tenure in that capacity would be a short one, i agree, on one side of the coin is the instant success group, but the other is the RTG group, thinking all is rosy and living in their high ivory towers as the business slowly becomes less and less competetive. It was like this for the past few seasons at saints under the Lowe era, and i for one never wish to be back there any time soon. Even when we entered into what we believed to be a time at which we were on the up, a cup final and europe a lack of ambition coincided with a brief stint against Steuea and a slow decline to the lowly position we found ourselves in at the end of last season. I thought we could have made the playoffs, or at least be in a position to say if we were there or there abouts at the end of the season it would be ok, but it has not happened, we have not been competetive enough. I am not calling for pardews head, quite the opposite, i think he has built a good squad and next year, IF we become consistant and play to the level we SHOULD be then i will be very happy. And btw, i have been to many a game this year, and will be at Wembley so don't start spouting that crap. I have enjoyed some games this season and yes it is much better than the dross last year, but we still should have been more competetive than we have been. So instead of slamming my opinion as meerly negative, how about getting over yourself and start to believe in what we have here, i don't want to stay at this level being sneered at by pompey and reading fans, we need to get back to where we belong, and i am thankful Cortese has not got your ear because clearly we would not be seing many Wembley visits nor a march back to the premiership. So no, i don't want instant success necerssarily, but i will not settle for second place, that is not me, and if that is you then ok but i prefer to aim a little higher in my ambitions. So sorry if that is apparantly negative, but TBH, i would argue the fact that being happy with 2nd place is actually the negative viewpoint. (sorry about the long post)

Fair point, Personally i quite rate the lad, think he has potential, not bags like spiderman but definate potential. Far too inconsistant though.

nail head, but watch out, us being a serious contender in this league is hard for some to grasp.

F*ck me calm down love, put the handbag down. Take off the RTG's and actually think about the situation. I really really do not want to see the back of pardew but i can see his position could be under threat. IMO, he has bought good players and has been able to get the best out of the younger ones. However, our overall league performance has been poor, you can't get away from that. Without the ten point deduction we would still be a reasonable distance from the playoffs. Our performance has improved since crimbo, but is clearly still inconsistant. And if NC is a decent business man he will clearly have these thoughts in the back of his mind. With the money he spent in jan it is obvious he and pards sat down and said, 'i think we can make the playoffs, lets spend'. Take the glasses off and get a sense of ambition and realism, tonights result was disapointing but not disaterous overall, but our league performance has.
-
Can we stop with this sh*tty F*cking excuse now ?? It is b*llocks, Leeds went through it and managed to easily make the playoffs, and they had minus 15 !!!!! This seasons performance overall has not been good enough, TBF, we now seem to have found our best team and tonight WAS probably a shame of a result as we sounded as if we have played well, but the crap start and other few crappy results thrown in have not helped.
-
I feel this is the end of what has been an unfortunate underperformance in the league this year. It is a shame as we sounded as we were playing very well against Swindon but as has happened many times this year we have failed to make chances pay, if we beat Swindon i would have been slightly leaning toward the 'we can make the playoffs' debate but now it has gone. Pardew, as much as i would not like to see him leave i feel will be worried for his job now, i hope that he stays on for the full 18, but if we do not dominate like we should be doing then i can't see how next year we can be seen as automatic promotion candidates. As much as everyone is saying bla bla bla NC shouldn't be getting his knickers in a twist, it is obvious to me there was a two way conversation regarding making the playoffs (which was reasonable) and so the money was spent, Pardew would have known this.
-
James needs to stay, great potential that lad has. Would like to see Semi stay on a low contract perhaps for a years deal ?? Thomas if we can get his wage down i would keep, (he owes us lol) That'll do, Antonio i don't think is good enough but a one year deal wouldn't be too bad i suppose. I'd love to keep Waigo to

They are going to transformer this league !!! That being said, Npower BOOOOOOO

Assault course
-
So what would happen if they get away with the -9 ?? (as they probably will, jammy c*nts) Does this mean we could have a case to get ours reinstated ???

I fitted my new cooker and wired my new kitchen, i got a mate of mine to come in and certify the kitchen wiring but replacing one cooker with another is so easy (electric) Literally 3 wires in the wall. What is so hard about that FFS ? Yes the sparky will come in and do his insulation and earth leakage and what not but there are so many sparkies out there that i wouldn't trust nor allow to do my home. I agree with the other posters (can't remember who) get a spark that you can trust if you need substantial work done. But imo replacing the 3 wires needed for a new cooker is nothing.
