Had a small kick about with Tessem in Flemming park with a mate of mine. Great bloke, very friendly and was telling us of the work he was doing with some local kids at the time. I must have been about 17 i think.

Hmmm, one word, Beattie !! Though i think that Zamora is a lot more refined player than Beatts ever would be, for one he can actually control a football. I think capello could do a lot worse than taking Zamora to the world cup and would even say that he could be a replacement for Heskey who isn't setting the world alight at Villa. I agree, Rooney and perhaps Defoe is a definate but the other two spaces are up for grabs, crouchie is a big favourite, but Bobby is definately looking good against good defenders this year. Well done Bobby, well done Roy, well done Fulham.

Watched the fight, he got battered by Sprott IMO. I agree, he was holding so much back tonight and it showed, all Sprott needed was to hold on for 60 seconds or so and was unfortunate to be caught by a big left. As for Haye, Audley was interviewed on Sky Sports earlier and was saying if he won tonight Haye should be wary because Audley would be aiming for him and i qoute "Haye you know what would happen if me and you got into the ring" Yeah Audley, you would get battered.

You say that we are dangerous however i would argue that every 'race' would have a timeline much similar to ours. A sort of tribal stage which no doubt many civilisations struggled through. We have progressed since the dark ages where it was localised tribes, and then onto the anglo-franco wars etc and onto where we are now which is arguably a lot more civilised than we have ever been. Perhaps it would be the final realisation that we really are not alone that would force us to become a single 'race' of earthlings (hate that saying, sounds so sci fi cringy lol) as apposed to different countries vying for national identities.

Done very well in Europe this year but really need to sort out their away form which is dismall. Well done to the old boy, done a fantastic job steadying and pushing on with negligable finances. And seems to be getting the best out of what seemed like, 'avarage' players.

I am pretty gutted we don't have any english contenders tbh, and too i am gutted that manure are out, tbf, i do admire the way they play football and all in all no, man utd do not bully teams, what a rediculous thing to say. Everyone these days surround the ref, i can't stand it, but his comments were aimed imo more at the fact they were obviously trying to injure rooney. You should always start an injury worry, always (if you are going to risk them that is !!) otherwise you could be in the situation where you put someone on and then have to take them off. I also think you underestimate Rooneys pace really, he is deceptively quick, also a lot of ronaldos goals were from the quick counter attacks, not from being released through on goal. Fergie did drop a clanger not putting berbatov on earlier, i turned and said in the pub that they needed him on 15 minutes before he actually came on the pitch, it just meant that anything played forward was going to come straight back, and duly did. Well done to Bayern though, they fought back, why do the Germans seem to get all the luck ?? Fioreintina, Juve and manure ??

Lol at android calling the middlesborough chairman cynical for not playing a player in order to not pay them a certain appearance fee !! not like they have done that this season is it. Ahem........Dindane :-\"

It would be a shame to see him go if he did, but i am confident that he will be staying. It is not the first time he has had bids for him, nor will it be the last, besides, he has had such a good season that there will be newspaper speculation, as i expect you will see for Rickie aswell, it is just how it goes. Could he do a job in the Prem ?? Honestly i believe in a team such as Fulham he would manage at first an inconsitant job but overall the boy has potential. Much in the same way as i could see Schneiderlin cutting it in that league, if the tactics are right.

Never really thought about it like that before however that all makes a lot of sense. When i first opened this thread i was going to write similar to that of weston, in which it is personally (to me) inconcievable that a similar 'race' had become that advanced compared to us. Then in this post you got my mind working and actually 'thinking' The problem being that as a scientist you often have to explain things due to the constraints of science, but that has it's own flaws as science is ever changing and so old theories could all go out of the window with the dawning of a new one (to an extent) To think that Electricity has only been around a few hundred years and the technological advancements that have happened in that time is astounding, what is next to be discovered ?? After all, religion could all be intertwined with experiences from the stars ? Science dictates for instance that jupiter for example is inhabitable ?? Why ? Because it is to us and our understanding of how life exists ?? That does not necersarily mean that other forms of life cannot withstand that environment. Another interesting concept is the fact that we only know of life as carbon based and can only see that which light refracts from, for all we know their could be more to this world that we cannot 'see' Ok, getting weird now but you get my point.

Unfortunately you actually have to move to be a man marker so Wooden is not the man to do it. I was sat watching it last night and was thinking the same thing, but then it would need to be someone very mobile and he really would have the sole job watching Messi, this takes someone else out of the game and they have so many other attacking options to hurt you. Barca are, arguably the best team in the land ATM and have arguably the best young manager (maybe next Manure manager ??). I would say the best way to beat them would be to attack them at pace and hope you are not caught. They are far too good to sit back on.

Must have missed the eastenders that Phil Mitchell chases Gordon round the square

Just goes to show how important a win at Swindon and Brighton would have been really, or perhaps tranmere ?? Shame, we can make it but it would be a farking miracle. Can we really see Oldham beating Hudds ??
