saying that, i don't have a cat at my house, or cat food, and still have an annoying little tomcat sat outside my house EVERY day !!! Feel a bit sorry for it really, like it's ever going to get any sympathy from me, silly little git
-
Hmm, i have green eyes, so if i were all you blue eyed people i would be really ****ed off, i however will sit on the moral highground, safe in the knowledge this mess was only half to do with me ?

Suspecting you don't want to injure the intrusive little gits (TBF i wouldn't, i am a bit animal friendly) You can get those magnetic catflaps, my cat (at parents) has one and has the key so to speak on his collar, don't think they are too expensive. Also quite funny to watch the other cat repeatedly banging his head on the catflap wondering how to get in.

Just started this game, had not heard of it before.... Come on you netley centrals !!!!!! Seems quite difficult though, is it worth starting a youth academy straight away or wait a few leagues ?? (if i get there)

I think we will do it and i agree with TDD with his predictions. It all begins against charlton however, i do believe a bad result will leave us doomed. Not that i think that will happen but as a saints fan i have seen it all too often. Come on guys....just please get out of this mess

completely agree. Less than 3 points here equals lg1 in my opinion, not neccessarily mathematically but i feel the mental aspect of not claiming 3 points here will do it. COYR Do i believe we can do it though ---- Yes:D

Ahh of course yes..... lol, still had bugger all transfer kitty but wolves brought skacel for 3mil (really??) and sold davis and BWP in the end. Got promoted through the playoffs in the end. Happy days !!!! -
USM was amazing when it first came out, USM 98 i really remember, god i found my dad playing it most of the time though. Total club manager was good a few years ago too, still don't think they are anywhere near FM09 though tbh

Just started a new season with saints. Won all pre-season matches and am currently second in championship after winning 4 on the trot. Playing a 4-2-3-1 formation but although the team is solid i am a little concerned about scoring goals. Team is --------------Westerveld----------- wasilewski---Todoya---Lequi---- Insua ---------Cork------Surman----------- Dyer-------Sanmearten/Lallana--------Holmes/Murphy -------Mcgoaldrick/Helgusun/McCulloch And have on bench - Glauber, Soley, Binya, Holmes, Gibson, John But obviously i rotate a little, i sold Davis, BWP and Skacel. Need a goalscorer though as i am worried that i am not scoring Edit - Most of my team are frees or loan signings -
Favourite so far !! 2 fish in a tank One turns to the other and says.. "Don't know how to drive this do you ?"

Hmm, rather un-comedy like it appears that there is only one Smirking_Saint in the whole world and resides in the saints forum !!!! HaHaHa, only you guys are cursed by my crap opinions.

An Irishman is really, really drunk, so the bar keeper walks up to him and says: "Right, you've had enough, go home..." So the irishman gets up off his stool and falls flat on his face, so he says: "Ok, i'll crawl outside instead, to sober up a bit more" He gets outside, and falls flat on his face, so instead he crawls the four streets to his home. when he gets home he opens the door, standing, and yet again falls flat on his face. so he crawls upstairs into his room, stands up and falls flat on his bed and falls fast asleep straight away. The following morning his wife wakes him up and says, 'You've been drinking again haven't you?' The Irishman replies, 'What makes you say that?' His wife replies, 'Well the pub just called, you've left your wheelchair there again!'

I must admit my one real fear was him going to forest, hopefully he will score a few against the relegation rivals now.

Fully see both sides of the story, i thoroughly agree with the fact that there are too many people just living off benefits and i believe these people are scum. However there are also the people that genuinely need them. -
I find myself agreeing with what you just said FC, however i like the word puppet as i feel it adequately sums it up. The problem is somebody believing they can do better then those that have lived in the professional game.
-
Yeah transfer i agree but we also spend money on crap we don't need. I agree with wright and cork and as for Saga and Saijs like i said before they are both surprise packages. I never heard of both of them before hand, it's the loan signings, i always see tha players available that from the off i believe could do a job, and we never seem to be even sniffing around. Look at under burley when we clearly needed center halves and he still signed about 25 midfielders.

I appreciate what the whole Gray, Wigley arguement is but it is purely a Lowe **** up, having met Gray he is a great guy and having been coached by him he is a brilliant coach, both times unfortunately i feel we lost good members of staff and yeah they did not perform well at that level but what did anybody expect ?? Problem was he was not ready. I also believe that the real reason Gray left (although agreed results were not great) was the falling out over Delgado. He did not want to sign him, he wanted to sign Forlan who was then available for 750k and probably a better option. I feel these two appointments were the beginnings of Lowe wanting a puppet.
-
yeah, having calmed down and thinking about things logically i suppose yeah it was never going to happen but it feels like for the past 3 years we have never had the rub of the green as far as signing decent loans. We never seem to be able to compete.
-
Can't find any other threads relating to this yet, i apologise if there are. The news that marlon may be going to either wolves or nottingham forest, anyone else believe he would have done a perfect job for us ?? Why is it we never seem to sign anyone that could actually do a good job for us ?? As opposed to the odd surprise package ?

I was well up for this and it was one of my targets for this year but seeing as my knee decided to royally ruin itself again my new targets are trying not to get too fat lol

Can where his point is going but the way he puts his point across is completely ****ish for want of a better description. The people that can't look after themselves need to be protected and it's hardly his workers fault. Ego's -
I have to agree with the general theme. As a person i never really liked her but nobody deserves to go through that and having to have her kids watch her fade is heartbreaking. I feel that the positives are that she has raised the awareness and fair play. Problem is people often feel something is wrong but are too scared to hear that something is wrong, it's just human and TBH happens at all scales. Even to the point of not checking bank balance till it's too late lol. Problem is some risks really are not worth taking. Luckily i am only a young'un so have not had to deal with health scares yet but i am not sure i would take the chance.

Christ this all seems slightly ironic. Spent most of yesturday in A&E after stretching for a ball i thought i would clear, in reality i probably did not need to as the (as usual) lightweight no bottle winger decided that if i was going to go for it he could not be bothered. My studs got caught and knee twisted and then the agony set in. Mostly because of the mental trauma (it was same knee as i had the op) and and worry. Luckily the doctor did all the specific tests and strongly believes it is not ligament damage (backed up with no swelling whatsoever) thank god !! But still as i know does not mean it's not, waiting for an M.R.I now, deep joy, looks like i will be joining you for a while !!!!!
