  1. I actually want to see if Archer could play like Armstrong in the new setup, I always thought he would be better with better tactics and playing like we are now
  2. Still not 100% on TE but this is the type of play we should of been playing since Ross got injured, we seemed to find the style of play worked a bit with Ross as a target man but as soon as he got injured we have no one else to play that way and needed to change playing style but we didn't and Still did not seem to understand that you have to change tactics. These tactics with fast pace and balls into space are what we should of been playing for a long time. So well done TE for seeing it and playing to the teams strengths Lets hope it continues to work for the next 2 games🤞
  3. So Atalanta have sacked Juric today and already announced a new head coach as well
  4. I honestly believe that the team are not as bad as they have looked. They look uncoached, there seems to be no systems of play practiced day in day to make the team cohesive. The results we have had seem to have been despite the manager not because of it.
  5. One thing to also factor in is that our loss is a net loss after tax etc.. and was a profit before exceptional items and how much did we pay off in transfer fee during that period. If we had similar values in there paid and we have circa £30m more in income this year we will be fine hence the commitments from the club that we will not sell players the manager does not want to. I guess (it is a guess) that if we recoup Osvaldo's fee we may re-invest on other players but may not have a great deal more but we will see come summer.
  6. I thought that to when i watched it on MOTD but no one even mentioned it.
  7. Completely agree but I'm an eternal optimist and as long as Man City beat Villa tomorrow it's as you were with one less game to go, yes it is disappointing as we had a perfect opportunity to go 6 points clear but it's still in our own hands
  8. I know we lost today and it's obvious that we are not defending that well but every statistic I've seen shows about 8 shots on target for us and 3 to them and even more of difference on off target chances which looks more like a bit of a smash and grab by them
  9. Actually you read 4points adrift when he took over and still 4points adrift but the 12points was to do with Man U
  10. Actually I was wondering the same thing will our players not have a great game in an attempt to impress the new manager and our team at their best can match any team. Also hard for Everton to prepair as they don't know what we will be set up like
  11. I agree and we should move on support the team and hopefully NC will have been right and we'll continue to move up the table
  12. I've watched match of the day too and how was that second one on Lallana not a penalty even if he went down soft for the first one MOTD didn't think he particuly did the second was blatent
  13. Have to say my first game of the season I have been to and 1 - 0 down at half time flattered them and we came out second half a gear or two up and Villa had nothing more to give great day and great win.
  14. Great news saints do like to stretch it out and i voted yes
  15. The announcement from Bologna is on transfer clockwatch on skysports.com now
