It would be total madness to try and move away fans into blocks 2 and 3. There would be serious crowd disorder due to the lack of seperation and at some point. Home fans in the exec boxes goading and jumping up when goals scored etc. In fact that trouble has already happened the other way around on a number of occasions. I also fail to see how the police would allow such a move which would pitch rival fans right next to each other on the main concourse. As it stands at the moment they have very good control on exiting away fans. It just sounds to me that some pen pusher in the boardroom who needs to justify his wages has come up with this pathetic idea. No doubt taking on board views from so called fans groups who dont represent anyone.

Can someone tell me who i send a complaint letter too about this itchen north fiasco ? Should i go straight to the top ? I also will be requesting why block 2 cannot be opened with so few away fans.

Having spoken to a number of fans today they all agreed that the club have got it totally wrong. A couple of them are disgusted they can no longer bring their children to games and sit next to them. Whoever came up with this idea has scored a massive own goal.

I complained to Luker regarding the killing of atmosphere within SMS due to its closure. Stewards have said they do not know why it was closed as they use similar amounts still. The club have the option to close the angle of seats in the away section to create even more of a barrier if required. Maybe someone should have a word with Oldknow and get him to sort Luker out.

Well AO spoke about getting more of the local corporate attendees back to SMS. He is fully aware that the financial downturn means jollies have been reduced. Every penny helps in hospitality which supposedly has dropped 80% since 2005.

I fail to see whats wrong with what currently exists. Certainly the atmosphere has been killed somewhat with the itchen corner being closed. I think the Police like the current set up as it means they have control of away fans close to exit. The last thing you want is thousands of away fans walking through home supporters straight away.
