I was going to mention that in some circles it may be viewed as a lack of ambition but, as brightspark points out, prostituting ones self to the highest bidder will always be the way that scumpey get their man.

No! don't tell me which club had to return FA Cup Final tickets and which one sold more than their allocation for a tin pot trophy final. Bigger, as Jim Royle might say, my aR5e! They actually believe their own hype.......sad sacks.

They have been in the division a year longer than us. They know what is needed. We are new to this division. We know what is needed. The difference? We're not whinging, we're getting on with it and our starting weeks look difficult too but that's how fixtures turn out. Man up snotterill and get on with it.

Apologies for not replying earlier (3 post rule). Yes, I messed that up by rushing things through and hitting send before going out! I was in two trains of thought, on the same line, what I said was the resultant crash. In mentioning the FL I did mean to put a phrase " PL and other authorities" and also how I thought the PL did a PR exercise on skates which achieved the square root of eff all. We are all aware that Plymouth fell under the FL and not the PL. And Salisbury were just thrown in as a measure of how far reaching rules do travel because I was aware of their financial problems. The skates, in respect to other clubs, have got away with the legal ramifications. My unreserved apologies.

But then we're just a couple of old whinging cynics, seeing things that the experts can't so maybe, as there are only the two of us, we are in the wrong. What I mean is that nobody else posting here can see what we can see....can they? .......Oh! Maybe we are not alone

It's been asked previously. I have asked previously. Why do the FL do nothing about them? It makes you wonder, very strongly, if the skates have some hold over the FL? Is there some blackmail going on and the FL don't want the world to know that there is some nefarious activity occuring? Why else would they sit back and let one particular club ride roughshod over football while persecuting other clubs who have owed far less. e.g. Plymouth through to Salisbury!

Not sure if posted but SKY sports news confirming De Laet on a season long loan at Norwich.

Go Wilde, go wilde, go wilde in the country Cos snakes in the grass are absolutely free And the skates have taken up every possible option on those free snakes!

Our Son, although that is more a way of life and unconditional love rather than a hobby, he's great to have around. Likewise with my Mrs. I love my soul music so I do a lot of internet based research and own/run a web based fan group. Currently doing some basic, NVQ2, training in I.T. mainly to reinforce my PC based work. Also spend a fair amount of time fixing things around the home, painting, decorating etc.

Please don't worry about us and the 'dullness' in planning to go. May I help pack your bags, we have collected enough for the one way ticket, destination Germany 1938, you'll feel at home . -
Me More seriously, yes we do and the skates give us cause to worry about football's hierarchy (PL, FL, FA et al) having any influence or control, while giving us laughs by the spadeful.
-
But we don't care about the skates.

Just one question, as it's just occured to me, and it's aimed at all on here not just those who are affected by this change. How many of you were complaining last year, on behalf of those moaning that the payment 'concession' had been withdrawn in a seemingly similar manner?

Integrity and Football League are currently poor bed partners in my opinion.

Is that Sir Walter Rayleigh? The guy who makes bicycles?

Nice memory. She did admire adolf but found him a little too humane for her liking. -

Jeremy Kyle would be in his element and I bet they'd burn out the polygraph machine. -

About 4 years ago the rear Ford Car Park (Cemetry Lane) was occupied by these type of people. The Ford legal team were notified immediately (they are sh!t hot at protecting Ford property). Transport said they would block them in with their trailers from Barton Park. Ford legal warned transport not to and 'moves' were made to engage them in 'discussions'. They disappeared, common rumour was that a 'saggy chops' type of deal took place. The car parks were fitted with height barriers that very weekend!

Apart from Mack and Mero are there any other decent skates?
