I take it you don't participate in any sports yourself? You also don't actually watch many of the matches you feel qualified to pass comment on it seems. Without a certain amount of luck we may have lost against Orient, as you may have noticed if you had been there.

Naah - he is losing his hair big time. Not a good sign IMO

His distribution isn't up to much, but the same applies to Seabourne. He was solid enough though and always went for safety first (i.e. hoofing it out of play). I think he would be fine against most L1 opposition.

I know this is going to sound insulting, but your opinions and the way you express them make you sound like a typical clueless football fan. "our backs do not attack enough"....."We also have some players who don't look that good" FFS! Why not add a few other profound observations, like "if we play better than the opposition more often we will win more games".

You didn't see the games against Orient or Bolton did you? This being so, how can you pass comment on why the chances have not been converted?

To convert chances you need a certain amount of luck, and we haven't had much in the way of luck so far apart from Lamberts deflection against Orient. Both keepers in the last two matches pulled of unexpected saves to keep us out. Pretty soon a team will kop all our luck in one game - let's hope it is Saturday. If you watched this match live, you would not be worried......HTH

I prefer to go on league status when judging who is (and is not) a EPL team. If average attendances dictated league status then I agree that we would be higher up the league echelon than the likes of Bolton, Wigan etc - but it doesn't, and Bolton are in the EPL and we ain't. They would also beat us 8 out of 10 times currently with a full strength team.

What is not possible? Certainly the picture on the BBC carries the "Southampton FC" watermark so I cannot see how that could get (and publish) the image without either purchasing it or SFC giving it away to the BBC gratis.

I think it is a storm in a teacup. I can see quite a few football clubs taking a look at how they can improve their revenues and deciding that this is a good idea. What have they got to lose? I guess the main issue for some clubs is that their sponsor(s) might take a dim view if their adverts stand less chance of being seen in the papers....something we don't have top worry about this season at least.
