It is a bit odd that the price differential in the wings is significant but not in the centre.....but it is also a moot point if they sell to everyone at the renewal price anyway whether they have a current season ticket or not!
-
What is your point? Completely irrelevant chum.
-
Your mum was a German who shaved her nether regions?? The thread/question was "Club or Country", not "Club or England" so I guess the relevance to you would depend on whether you support a national team or not?

I have heard from David Luker on this subject and it is (clearly) a mistake on the part of the person selling the ticket. I don't expect the mistake to be repeated - it is just the good fortune of those that have gotten away with it thus far. Where I sit the difference between a renewal and a new ticket is £54 so it is revenue the club cannot afford to chuck away IMHO.

This is true, and it irks me a little - not just because it removes that little bonus incentive for those who continued to pay for a season ticket over recent years, but also because the club a robbing themselves. A mate of mine hasn't bought a season ticket since we got relegated from the Prem and still got the renewal price. He also bought one for his missus (who has never had a season ticket) and she got the renewal price also!!!

This thread has slipped off topic methinks.

Smart arse

You'd have to cook it for quite some time before it would be hard enough to do any damage.

By selling him to a non-league club?

Difficult to check since the online version is only on issue 1240. Why start a thread with the most cryptic content imagineable referring to something that nobody can read unless they go to the shop? From the "Mom" and "Way to go" bits I would hazard a guess at an American who likes to set puzzles for people :-)

I have stared at this for ages and I can't fathom it out at all. Has the forum been hacked by a spammer or does this have some meaning that I am too dense to comprehend?

He means bated breath Derry ;-)
-
LOL - I hadn't seen the news revealing that AP had recently had a lobel lobotomy :-)

As fans it is difficult not to fret over defeats in friendly matches against supposedly inferior opposition. However, if we had won these games then everyone who is now whining about the results would be saying how meaningless friendlies were (results-wise).

Come on Torres, its obvious. There are some people who live in Switzerland whose first name is Ivan. Simples.
-
To be fair, some of the whiskey he bought was pretty decent stuff (so I have heard).

According to the OS the team line-up was Poke, James, Mills, Wotton, Perry, Lancashire, Thomson, Saganowski, John, Pulis, Gobern, Saville, Forecast, Paterson, Molyneux, Doble, McNish, Boyle. The ones in bold being regular first teamers last season....and they let in 5! AP will be in no doubt where he needs to strengthen will he?

Oh my gawd - another "who is going" thread. When will it all end?? :smt089

You have the optimism of yoof on your side young man, rather than the realism of age and (disappointing) past experiences (Saints related experience you understand). We are gonna be in some dark places this season - especially at the start, do don't get carried away just yet.

There is no golf course in West End - apart from the Pitch and Putt by the Rose Bowl ;-) Did he say, "Hello, my name is Leroy Lita" to your mate or is he just guessing it was him? Did he sign in the guest book or summat? Yes, the WEB is a hole.
-
Too old for your nappy perhaps :-)
-
It is a shame that pre-season excitement and optimism always has to give way to reality once the first game is twenty minutes old ;-)

So was I. Did he pop in the Southampton Arms or the WEB or was he looking for a bargain in "In Excess"?
