I had a great view of this and it was identical to the Tranmere incident. In both cases he was kicked on the shin and then relaxed both knees, dropping to the ground. Both, imo, were penalties, but in the 'soft as sh*te' category.
Block 134 - Row 19 - seat 1
On the end of the row so will probably spend the whole match stood up whether I want to or not, letting the late comers/early leavers & weak bladder club in/out.
All too common these days - sometimes it works, sometimes not. Nottm Forest's recent wobble had some fans on their message board saying get rid of Davies!
Now get back to work.
This is the downside of going tomatches - you miss comedy gold moments such as these. I did see the Radio Solent limousine in the car park after though.
'now what you really don't want to do now is get yourself blocked in the car park'
Or maybe more cynically, they are laughing because their mates are laughing ie. peer pressure and all that, but inside they're thinking - 'this is carp' but maybe don't have the courage of their convictions.
Yep. Also not totally sure if Reeves was in 'all competitions' or just league. FF or David in Sweden will know.
EDIT - 39 league goals in 1959-60 according to 'In that Number'.
Sir Rickie 29 for Saints, so 16 to go to beat the club record.
Derek Reeves, 44 in all comps 1959-60, 39 in league
