Brilliant first half here. Should have been 3 up after 15 mins. Great goal by Barney, frazer stand out player for me. Didn't know what to think of him before today. He's class. If we lose this one it will be criminal. How we lost last game I dont know.

I didnt want to risk upsetting all the people who actually like human beings but mods feel free to move. I didnt expect so many people to hate them as much as me!!

Before I start my rant I have to point out that I am in fact a human too so I include myself in any attack at our race. Ive decided that human beings are f*cking weird. seriously messed up.... I come to this concrete conclusion on the back of two recent trips out in local areas and my absolute disbelief at some of the inbreeding that must be going on on this planet........ I really have seen it all now.... The people who look like they may have some form of illness but actually havent and are just plain weird, the old people with their faces practically hanging off and an expression like they are on a double dose of ketamine, the people with teeth sticking out so far you nearly get taken out by them when they move and the spotty, skanky, p!ss stained people that you know full well are out and about spending benefit money that we work to provide.... to explain further and maybe ease the understanding of the above the two places I went to were fareham shopping centre and hedge end marks and spencers / sainsburys..... OK the first one is kind of understandable being under a PO postcode but im starting to think southamptons folk are just as bad.... in fact I now fully believe that across the board human beings are just plain messed up creatures both visually and in most cases proven further once they open their mouths or shuffle along with their varied annoying mannerisms.... In the space of a half hour lunchbreak today I witnessed all of the above 100 times over including the typical fat inbred shop worker in sainsburys, the old lady in her car that despite me waving her on 5 times sat their looking blankly back at me with a gormless expression... some ***t in his car behind me wearing sunglasses when it is overcast and grey and so many more I havent got time to mention. Thank you for your time you weird weird things you. If you feel the same I would like to hear of your examples or if you disagree then feel free to try and convince me otherwise.

Dont get me started on people who dont indicate......... I was following behind someone this morning for a couple of miles and not once did they indicate at any of the turnings!!! Not sure if it was a female but it was someone in one of those dodge mini 4x4 things.... worse than people who dont indicate are people who on the motorway think that just because they have indicated they can move straight over!!!! Pr!cks!!!!!!!! I need a coffee and to calm down..... Nothing makes me angry like sh!t drivers do.

My bloody Octavia VRS is quite the opposite. You'd think my lights were off despite being on main beam. Not sure if it's a fault as the lights are on, just not very bright. Odd.

Off topic ish but whats the crack with the training ground anyway... can you go down and watch the players train and have a look around as you wish or is everything behind closed doors. Never been down there before and would like to. I think someone confirmed before that all reserver games are behind closed doors but im guessing if they are going to put a new stand in then this will change???

Adkins has to have someone lined up to replace him surely?! As much as I've never really liked punch I know full well that we will miss him and need someone there as an alternative to the Ox. Loan announcement to come tomorrow???

As others have mentioned we have struggled against a top team again and results of late have been against poor sides so the question of whether we have been flukey lately has arisen. We have a lot of good sides still to play so they may well go the same way... If we win the peterborough and Brighton games then people may be a bit more confident. We won't if we play as we did today though..

Im starting to think something is going on with the "Play Lambert every game thing"... surely any player that out of sorts would be dropped until fitness, head space etc is up there with others available.. Maybe we're scared of losing him if we dont play him every game. Dont think that would be such a disaster personally. Barnard, Guly and Connolly could make more of an impact this season than Lambert is clearly willing to.

Maybe not random, wrong word. But such a change in formation and players used was only going to end up one way imo. As soon as I heard Jaidi was in and Lambert was up on his own I knew how it would go as per my first post of the day.

Clearly Adkins doesnt think he made any mistakes, which is worrying. Granted there is more than 1 way to play football but when you make the wrong decision in terms of formation you have to admit it and reassure fans that you have learnt from it. Scared to Admit he's wrong incase or Cortese Backlash?

They may be a top club but we beat them twice last season pretty easily and if things weren't messed with today I think we would have done it again. I accept co ckups when its the winning regular side having an off day (almost) but when its random tactics causing it i think it shouldnt just be accepted.

Agreed. Problem with having so many decent players on the bench is you have to use them or they will feel they are wasting their time and missing out on starting games at another club. Think there were a few players who should have started today and didnt.

Such a comedian. Please stitch my sides up. People are right to be annoyed. Adkins played with things unnecesarily and then failed to react in time. It was a great opportunity to carry on doing what we've been doing and come out looking really good at the end of it. instead it couldnt really have been worse. I accept in the grand scheme of things its not the end of the world but on a game by game analysis it was a bit of a c o c k up.

I'd settle for that. Or even Guly and Lambert would do. Point is Lambert is useless on his own upfront. (Right now at least, before contradicitory examples from last season come up)

Bournemouth winning makes me feel worse. I used to like Bournemouth but they have become an irritant.

Dont know what Barnard has to do for people to realise he's better than Lambert. Especially this season. Sounded like hid did more than lambert in the short time he was on.

Two very tough games next. Cause for concern as could be very different after those if we play like that.

So many things wrong in that game... Hope Adkins has learnt that you cant mess with a winning formula when saints are concerned. We dont deal with change well.

Dear oh dear Adkins... Oh well, at least we scored goals... If only Harding didnt have a shocker in the first half.

I remember this from last season... so many times being pushed and pulled when a game is on as we get one back then lose...
