That was my point. I couldn't differentiate between hitting someone in the street or whilst in front of a band listening to music. Guess the definition varies from place to place. This particular mosh pit was at joiners in Southampton and was actually during a hip hop style night, which I'm told is unheard of.... I guess if its just a load of pushing and shoving then no harm done... I'll still give it a miss though....

So has your opinion on such an activity changed now that you don't partake? Do you think it's stupid and a bit immature like I do??? My lodger is 24 and until hearing about his potentially broken knuckles tonight I thought he was only slightly mental. I stand corrected. Boy has issues.

Just had a debate with my lodger about mosh pits, which until this evening I had no idea what one was!* Seems people start smacking each other about to the sound of slipknot, slayer etc with no offence taken and congratulate each other on a good shot with a shake of the hand! Have I just lived a very sheltered life or are others in the dark about this going on? The debate escalated onto whether this negative activity is right or wrong, to which I feel strongly that it is abnormal and I see no benefit to smacking another human in the face regardless of what terms it is on. His argument was that everyone knows what they are going into and refused to accept that the people involved have deep rooted issues and seek that thrill for a phsycological reason... I'd be interested to hear peoples views on this....

Basically that he had hoped he could have got three new players in in the summer transfer window but it didn't happen. The money was there then and still is for those new players so it will be available in January... That brought on lots of applause Didn't say a lot else (or maybe that last bit stuck out too much) Adkins was less repetitive and used less cliches when in front of a crowd, which was nice. Simple as that.

If anyone should be bashed it's chaplow... Couple of good moments but makes far too many mistakes with his passing. But that's for another thread :-D

Absolutely agree about chambos goal. I was on cloud 9 when that goal went in and cannot wait to see the highlights. Brilliant game to watch and because it was so close and scrappy that made it all the more entertaining. Whatever happens this season my first season ticket is the best thing I've ever bought. I think sometimes peoples expectations are far too high. We won today, we bossed the most of the game and even in the games where we haven't won I have always felt we were the better side. Yeah we're not Chelsea standard but we are pretty damn good for league one. I don't care how we win or if they make a few mistakes. I will only be unhappy when we are losing more than we are winning. At the moment we can't complain really.... COYS!

Any loners in the itchen intrigued by the post match stuff in the starting today but concerned about standing around on their own??? I sit on my own in row K block 7 and quite like the sound of it but someone to share a pint with would be good! :-D

Just phoned up to get a ticket for my mate for either side of my ST seat at the Dag & Rbridge game and was told there are none available in block 7 at all. Which would be fair enough but every game this season I have had at least 4 empty seats to the left and 3 to the right, Even when I have previously been told the whole of 7 is booked up. Surely these arent all season ticket holders seats who havent turned up for any games?!?! The lady was unable to confirm if they were ST seats as she couldnt even get into the block on the system because it was reported as sold out... Shonky system it would seem. This is row K just behind the dugout so could these be reserved for competitions, scouts etc as I recently won tickets in this area?? If I get to the game and am surrounded by empty seats then i wont be impressed as my mate will have missed out on cheap ticket unnecesarily... I know we could move somewhere else but we both want that area and I'm not convinced theyre not available......

But that would imply it's an illness or a defect with the baby which is bullish!t. It would never happen as it contradicts the shift in society that it is ok to be gay. When you have a child you don't know how your child will turn out but you love it unconditionally whether it be gay, fat, thin, intelligent or thick as pig sh!t The best thing that can happen to the homophobe on here is that he has a fat, Ginger, gay, dunce of a child so that he is forced to respect and defend all that society deems as defects.
