  1. The old ones are the best ones...
  2. True...fair enough.
  3. Just as we thought, as 'edited' response from a poster with no answer that's clutching at straws. Nice try SS, no-one's buying though...must do better. Enjoy your weekend mate.
  4. Disneyland is full of what? Oh yeah tourists. 50% of Disney's visitors are probably from abroad, many fron the UK - Which reminds us http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/article667490.ece And by the way mush...I ain't arguing about 'obesity', have I ever mentioned that. My point is if Pancake had made the same comment about another group, there would've been Hell to pay...but it's ok to make smug, glib remarks about certain groups. All I'm saying is bigotry based on race, nationality, gender, religion etc is wrong in any form. Am I wrong? By the way SS, I live 20 minutes from Disneyland and hve been there 100's of times, how many times have you been and who with mate? Gotta say - ain't seen that many people in these motorised wheel chairs/invalid carriages that you speak of???
  5. Resorts to insults?...you're not very good at this are you my racist moderator? Talk about practice what you preach FFS 1. The 'American' racial slur insult, in post 21. 2. The teen 'rolly' eyes in post 49. Clearly everyone can see the difference between making insults and reacting to insults. Instead of grabbing an opportunity to do the right thing (come on mate, we all, me included make mistakes) and apologise, you'd rather justify your bigotry, fight on about it and go down flames...amateur my friend, in FACT, very amateur. Come back when you have some help maybe, have improved your material...or at very least your memory. Easier still, don't even apologise just recognise that it ain't really right to insult people based on religion, gender, nationality, race or colour....ah, I'm p!ssing in the wind here aren't I? Why don't you tell us a bit about your origins, so these people over here that have been so kind, hospitable, generous and welcoming to well over a dozen of my Saints supporting friends, including feeding and housing them, even in a few cases help find them work and legal US status, can then at least have the options to racially make stereotypical, bigoted remarks at you. Anytime you wanna come to this paradise over here give me a shout and I'll welcome you and help you understand how kind these people are. Oh and 'grow up', that's funny...as far as the previous 'get a sense of humour' quote goes, something 'humour'ous has to put said/posted. Peace.
  6. What's that nice cutesy little thingy you put after the 'Sorry'? The 'but' was enough (as it negates the 'Sorry') without the teen fanzine rolly eyes things mate Was it 'Sorry', but I still a bigot? 'Sorry', but I'm crazy? 'Sorry', but your crazy? 'Sorry', but you need t'see an eye doctor. I don't comprehend 'Bliss' and 'Sugar' speak.
  7. U got mail Geezer.
  8. Ooh a 'nasty' racial stereotype from our squeaky clean Administrator...hey Pancake, try substituting 'American' with women, Indian, Jewish, Catholic, Black, Pakistani...and see the reaction! Or is ok to make bigoted comments about only the people that you in particular are prejudice against?? I ain't perfect by a long mile....so all I'm saying is have a look in the 'Moderation' mirror and retract or justify...I mean aren't you responsible for standards or is it just keeping things humourless?
  9. Like I said, nothing better than either a) Waiting for God's intervention b) Hoping our 'luck' will change c) Simply ignoring a problem Rather than identifying an area for improvement and taking a challenge to change the trend???
  10. Nick - your right, but ignoring blatant FACTs is...well blatant stupidity. So something along the lines...AP 'Lads, we are performing positively and an area we have identified to also give us positive results for our positive play, is that of closing games out defensively after the hour mark, this is one of our new challenges'...or something less crass to that effect, right.
  11. That's exactly the point 'we still conceded late'...something is breaking down, let's work and change our closing games out strategy.
  12. So Nick, where are 'uddersfield, Millwall, Brentford etc in the Prem? Top 4 or mid table...or did we all miss something. Turn a blind eye mate at something that is glaringly obvious from a coaching prospective - our next opponent ain't a Prem team so they won't score late right?
  13. Totally understand your irony there - however, this is 100% resolvable. Not like random ogs or a spate of unfortunate injuries. During about a 22-23 minute period of matches we have bowed out of a lucrative cup and lost numerous points. So simply, let's address this problem. AP should have his players and staff in a gameplan meeting as we speak - if not tomorrow to address this recurrent problem to ensure it does not happen again. We won the battle of talent, possession and attempts tonight and yet again sickeningly got sucker punched.
  14. Mate - we are. If there is a pattern, a trend, constant problem a decent coach can absofu¢kinglutely remedy it...it's randomness that is difficult to deal with. AP seems a fine fellow and good coach. So let's see him cure the obvious that is slapping his face right now!!
  15. I get that bit Brad, but 'Uddersfield, Brentford, Millwall and then how many last seson FFS
  16. All the above or what GS? Can't we just put a 9-1 formation on in the 60th minute? Something...
  17. And only one - 9 - Is this a little obvious, but do we have a fitness - substitute or late game strategy problem FFS?
  18. Dunc FFS mate, do you realise how much schit some of us take? TBF, I think we've become more 'sensitive' on here as some take this (excellent) site a little more seriously...hence the curtailing/banning of fun, Saints fan related posts like the fantastic 'Soul Cellar' memories/legend/myths whatever you wanna call 'em. Me, I also love the Ugly as you can be y'stereotypical Fitzhugh/Spinnaker/Wimpson Club/Market Diner lad without having to retain a thoroughly 'appropriate' posting technique. You can be a shade sacrimonious without fear of chastisement. Both forums have their place, this sometimes has some slight newsworthiness or a reasonable prospective of some average Saints fan's opinions...but it ain't a lot of fun and you get crucified for trying to have some. If we were to allow a bit more humour, p!ss-taking and light-heartedness, we wouldn't find it so devastating when some loud mouth gobbed off without even the balls to back schit up or respond. FF, I probably know you as well as almost anyone on here and vice-versa, I've listened to opinions and advice from you and respected it....well here's some from me about some of your detractors 'Empty vessels make the loudest noises!' Dr Tim diagnoses a couple of weeks rehab on the UI and maybe even a few cyber fights with the skates on Uncle Colin's site - sharpen your retorts and p!ss-taking skills (Which you have been a pastmaster at in the past when needs be), then come back here a continue your fine contributions on this forum. Rant over my friend!
  19. That's all well and good - in FACT great for Saints 3,000-2,000 or whatever at about 25 quid a pop FOR SOUTHAMPTON. At home they struggle to get 7k and last season (and historically) they get barely 5,000 so they have some of the worst support in English football and (despite their occassional over-achieving) should be dispatched easily by the likes of us.
  20. Well the fixtures gods ain't made it easy for us in the 10 days or so coming up. We have a Prem team, a tricky away day in the Greater Manchester area, a club that banged in seven away at one of the division's favourites and the top team in the league. In true Saints fashion, it might be just the challenge we need and Southampton rise to so many times, a chance to defy logic and (myself included) the doubters. I think it is absolutely possible to get a few wins or even go undefeated. 1. Brum - Totally beatable in the Littlewood's/Milk/whatever cup as was proved last season. 2. Stockport - Hardly Man City away is it? 3. Colchester - Tough yes, but at home with two good results coming into this game, should be able to grind out a result. 4. Charlton - Take a schit load of fans up there, create a cauldron and by that time they'll be due to get turned over!!
  21. Dunc...mustn't forget that even without the 10 point deduction we'd still be second bottom after these first four games.
  22. Fair point, what I'm saying is Brentford are nothing with less than zero resources, no money, horrible support and no future...whereas Saints have bank, you and 20k plus diehard fans that are witnessing football two league lower than their support deserves. So well done to the little-barely-more-than-pub team Brentford, but we must close crap like that out...especially after taking a second half lead.
  23. Suggest you think too, with all due respect that was fu¢king Brentford at home and not Villa away - which at 1-1 would be a good performance.
  24. Jewitt and Wils FFS you're just a Dean Prince or Philly Joyce short of the Three Musketeers there Mike. Well, both are also accomplished players so I'll take heart from that and give them an 'ello from 'Timmy' next time you see them mate.
  25. Sorry guys, late night last night - it's morning here. Just that I can hear 19,000 odd of you giving great support and the team screwing up - like it has for 5 years. It has to stop - No more excuses or sub-standard showings.
