because they wont pay for it the council will and then if they get a big draw in a cup comp they can sell many more tickets and it wont have cost them anything! just think if they had a 40k stadium for JPT we could prob sell 8k plus for them!

well now 9pts off top 6 but that must equal 10 wins in reality the climb up the top half will be slower than the bottom half! next target is surley top half (12) then top ten but hay. us supporters would maybe say that but the club would happily have 80k seats available for the big 4/5 games in a season! especially as the stadium would cost the club very little

stop the comparing to leads debate! the quality of the teams in L1 in leed`s first year was alot less! 07/08 L1 top 6 swansea city notts forest doncaster carlisle leeds southed how many of them teams have had real prem experience compared to this seasons L1, Leeds, Charlton, Norwich, Dons, Us! it`s a much harder league today than it was back then when leeds were the only big name!

If the local councils are paying for a 40k seater stadium what team would argue??? if southampton council offered to build us a 80k seater stadium we as a club would not say no
