I've been to every derby game in recent times (first was at the Dell when Merrington was in charge) and I just don't think I can be bothered this time. What I particularly don't like is where the club state you have to pick up your coach pass (they will not post them out) before the day of the game. So what is the window for picking coach passes up? If you don't live locally it could be a right pain in the arse having to make a special trip (costing 60 pounds in diesel) or attending a home game that you hadn't planned to just before the Pompey game. It's like having to jump through hoops to jump through even more hoops.

You are forgetting that even when they've gone to general sale (database only of course) the past few times they have not been snapped up in a few hours or even a few days. The fact of the matter is that Saints are a family club and families make up the bulk of our support. Families don't do Pompey games.

This is what i've noticed from the games i've attended. We urgently need to bring in a loanee or two or will drop points. We're in a great position and some will say i'm being negative, but we have to be realistic and proactive and address issues before they correlate into a slide.

You need your head testing if you're even contemplating indirect options for the sake of 50 quid, especially on a short haul flight.
