If the hunger strike fails you should boycott the forum.

I doubt that very much. Verbal doesn't strike me as the sort of person who'd fit in with the ambience of the programme.

I'd go along with govenor of the BOE and doubt we'll see much growth for years. The growth we have seen has all be fake i.e built on debt. Also this is an important investment and i'd rather air on the side of caution. I may even stick with the deposit fund and ride out the current low interest rates.
-
I've ruled nothing in and nothing out. I don't think this would be the best option because it's constrained, but haven't done any research as yet so cannot say any more than that.
-
I'm currently investing in a deposit fund which mirrors the BOE base rate and at 0.5% it's not a good investment at the minute (although rates should go back up in due course) and have the following options: Blackrock Aquila (50:50) global equity index fund Blackrock Aquila consensus fund (80:20 equity:cash/bonds) Blackrock Aquila all stocks corporate bond index fund Prudential socially responsible fund Prudential HSBC Amanah (sharia compliant) fund A lifestyling fund (global equity index fund switching to deposit fund 5 years prior to retirement) Prudential deposit fund (mirroring boe base rate) Any thoughts on these options? I'm currently leaning towards the Blackrock Aquila all stocks corporate bond index fund as I consider this to be reasonably safe and have delivered good results during this recession.

Saint Richmond must make a killing on accumulators.

How much does a philippino wife cost? To put it into context.

I'd want someone to pay me £15,000 to spend a season in the company of Nicole.

Stop talking like a c*^t. It's hardly a giant killing.

If only you were as joyful and enthusiastic in victory.

I don't need or want advise from the likes of you. ITV's only achileles heel is their over reliance on advertising revenue which makes them vulnerable during a slowdown. That said ITV digital was what caused the problems and that is now in the past and you would expect they'd have learnt some valuabl lessons. The regulators have recently allowed extended advertisement breaks and product placement in programmes is set to increase and the quality of ITV programmes is improving - ITN news is far superior to the leftwing biased BBC news, Downton Abbey has been a major sucess pulling in the crowds and then you've got crap like X factor that people like you seem to enjoy. Thanks for the advice Verbal, but you're talking cr4p.

We lost. Big deal. We might win next week. Get grip the tw4ts who are thinking the end is nigh.

The way things have gone in this country if you're a white english male you're the only section of society that is fair game to be discriminated against. Therefore I welcome rulings that stop us being treated as second class citizens. Lets hope that positive discrimination is the next thing thats outlawed.

NCD protection is the biggest con going. When you apply for new insurance they always ask you whether you've had any accidents in the past 5 years or so which should be an irrelevent question if you've got NCD protection.

I haven't held shares in them for ages gobby. Have a look at Verbals comments re ITV (is he a relation of yours?) and then see what happens with them today when the market opens. My strategy is high risk so obviously some of my picks will go belly up. Sneering no marks like you revelling in the ones that do go pear shaped is of no concern to me.

You think it's cool, i thinks it's cool and Turkish thinks it's cool. Therefore it is cool.
-
But are you cool enough to actually go out there and become a ghost hunter? Would the Hampshire ghost club think you were cool enough to become a member of their team? I don't think so.

lol. It's the Iranians making the complaint so don't take it seriously.
-
What if it was the other way around and men were charged less - the womens lib lot would have been up in arms and "loose women" would have something to say about it. would it be acceptable if the cost was worked out according to race or sexual orientation?
-
I will only be happy if we win 3-0. 6-0 makes us cocky and 4-1 means we switched off.
-
Probably. My insurance shot up by £300 this year and i've got 9 years no claims bonus. I've now gone with http://www.swiftcover.com/carinsurance/ and they beat the nearest quote by a clear margin. The service is probably **** though but i'll cross that bridge as and when I need to.

European judges rewrote the rule book for insurance companies today by banning risk assessment based on gender. Using differences between men and women as a risk factor in setting premiums for car and medical insurance as well as pension schemes breaches EU rules on equality, declared the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. The verdict - which applies from December 21 next year - will force changes in the current practice of basing insurance rates on statistics about differing life expectancies or road accident records of the sexes. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1361750/Car-insurance-women-soar-25-men-face-10-CUT-EU-rules.html#ixzz1FMSBSzqB Good news. It's always annoyed me how a bird at work who is a nervous wreck at the wheel and who can't parralel park gets cheaper insurance just because she drives at a snails pace. People like her cause more accidents by forcing other road users to overtake.
