Hiking taxes is the Socialist way, but it stifles growth.

It's unlucky for them, but it has to be done. Labour left us with a £155 billion deficit.

    The BBCC

The BBC do not present the gravity of the situation Labour left the country in which means drastic cuts are necessary and should be welcomed.
  12. Tragic news, but it still brings a smile to my face knowing how much we got off Spurs for him.

    The BBCC

Cameron condemns the whingeing BBC: It's the British Broadcasting Cuts Corporation David Cameron has hit out at the BBC for whingeing about his Government’s cuts. The Prime Minister blasted the ‘British Broadcasting Cuts Corporation’ for publicising every reduction in spending without properly explaining why efficiencies were necessary. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1360786/David-Cameron-brands-BBC--British-Broadcasting-Cuts-Corporation.html#ixzz1F4MI1JTt It's good to see that Chris Patten has been nominated as the governments choice for chairman. Hopefully he'll sort things out and put the jumped up lefties in their place. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/8311497/Patten-to-review-BBC-governance-after-being-nominated-as-chairman.html#
  14. Lefties are generally Socialists and Socialism is all about jumped up busy bodies trying to control everything. What they say goes and anyone who dares to think differently is the enemy.
  15. At least if we lose we have alpine saint to cheer us up. It's only a game.
  16. Sheep having fun on the mountains.
  17. Heights don't bother me, but falling to my death would bother me. If I didn't have a springer spaniel pulling on the lead i'd do it without a second thought, but looking at the photo's and video i'd say it wouldn't be a very wise plan...
  18. Good result for us

  20. This is how a larsen trap works with the caged magpie attracting another magpie. [video=youtube;z9uJbS-sIws]
  21. Ring up the RSPB. I rang them up to ask whether I could shoot a sparrow that sat on the gutter outside my bedroom window twitting and was told it would be illegal.
  22. It really is.
  23. I think it's ok to kill magpiesm but not sure. You need to get a larsen trap which basically consists of two chambers; one to keep a magpie in to attract another into the trap section. Once you've trapped one you wring the others neck and put it in the section to attract the next one. As for catching the first magpie you'd best ask someone else.
  24. Cheers for the vote of confidence in this route. A couple of questions: 1) How long does it take to get up and down? I'm planning on starting walking about 7 a.m just incase. 2) I'd prefer to let the dog off the lead - are there sheep about and are steep drops limited? Obviously the bloody thing would have to stay on the lead under either of these circumstances....
  25. Why harsh MacIntyre is a really really funny guy. Deppo is just like him.
