Been a very good day today. CNE had a nice rise. Reckon that arctic documentary on bbc 2 had a lot to do with that - some good exposure to what they're doing in greenland.

I was watching an arctic documentary on bbc 2 last night, you may have seen it, it was about Greenland and how the inuits lives have changed rapidly over the past decade or so because of mineral exploration. One of the inuits was employed by Cairn Energy (who I have chosen to invest in) and when asked whether he prefer his old hunter gather life or his life working for Cairn Energy he said he prefers his life now because he can pay his rent, his phone bill, feed his family. That is capitalism at work. That is what poor people in third world countries want. I am doing far more for these people by investing in companys operating in their country than any left winger will do rattling a tin.
