Socialism is akin to Marxism and has always been about control and the nanny state, and Conservatism has always been about freedom and giving responsibility to the people. After 13 dark years of Socialism we are seeing civil liberties returned. I think many people, including yourself, fail understand what you are voting for.

The birth certificate thing is more than odd, it shows him to be a man that can't be arsed to do right by his child. If he can't be arsed to do right by his own flesh and blood then you've got to question his drive to do the right things for our country.

The way Ponty and St Landrew have been treated for helping this business out (free of charge) is really quite disgusting. Basically they've been sacked and told they can re-apply for an unpaid job. It's no wonder they've taken the hump - anyone would if they'd been treated like this. I think you owe them an apology Baj & Steve because you've driven away some good people and made very bad error of judgement. A sticky has been posted on this subject so it's there to be discussed and that is my view on it.

So decency and family values have no place in politics in your book. I think you'll find that most people will have an issue with a hypocrite playing th system and a father that can't spare a few minutes to fill in a form for his sons birth certificate.

However, remaining unmarried gives the couple protection from capital gains tax on the sale of property. Married partners can nominate only one ‘primary residence’ – which is exempt from the tax if it is sold – but unmarried couples can nominate two properties if they maintain separate ownership Another champagne socialist with a "don't do as I do do as I say" attitude finely tuned to milking the system. As for Red Ed not having time to fill out the form to have his name put on his sons birth certificate I find that disgraceful.

Good ridance to a hideous "modern art" eyesore.

Pardew is history. Forget him. He was a rubbish manager anyway.

When Aids first appeared it appeared in homosexuals in New York and Black Africans. I would suggest that these separate groups were the first to be given the "vacine", probably in the form of a hepatitis vacine.

I told you all before how it was the US millitary that created AIDS and distributed through the WHO injections in Africa to stem the tide of Marxism. The revelations from Guatemala only serve to give credence to my view. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mItaD5PvH0chttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7qQ7eJZ420

I'd bring back workhouses for the slobs who make a career choice to be a parasite.

Quite why anyone would get annoyed by a post on message board is beyond me.

I did, but wasn't going to argue with security because the next step would have been the police. Not a wise move when abroad.

I was in the right as far as i'm concerned and i'm British so i'm hardly going to be deprived of a sun lounger by their selfish tactics. That said I doubt you'd be able to lay in the sun without turning into a lobster so you'll never have the need to stand your ground and fly the flag in a sun bed war.
-
I had an incident whilst on holiday with a German over a sun lounger. Having poddled down to the beach at 12 one day I found that every sun bed had a towel on it with about 25% in use. I was not impressed to say the least so the next day after breakfast went down and me and the missus found two beds right next to the sea front and removed the towels and sat in the sun reading. About an hour later a German arrived at the next sunloungers and out of the corner of my eye detected he wasn't happy (so assumed he was friends with those who's towels we'd removed). Sure enough 5 minutes later I was rudely interupted with a "Ziss is my bed". After words in which I pointed out that you wouldn't reserve a seat in a restaurant and said a few more things (I know I shouldn't have mentioned the war but I was getting angry by this time)) I gave him the blue towels that he had sneakily concealed under the beds and suggested he find some beds at the back of the beach or throw some towels off his fellow countrymens beds. The next thing he'd come back with security with his gobby wife calling me a sabateur! And security told us to move. Needless to say by this point I was fuming and further words were exchanged (that would be wise not to go into on here). I naturally made a complaint to guest relations with a few suggestions, but I will make a point of researching the towels on sunbeds pol8icy before booking any hotel in the future. Selfish bastards.

Actually that doesn't seem to be the true picture.

LOL at those applying saying they want to do this and do that. Nothing needs to change imo and if anything there needs to be next to no moderation. Jimmy D says he wants people only to make a point once, but if that was enforced there'd be next to no activity on here, and as Winston Churchill once said "If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack."

I noticed a few weeks ago that the list that showed who was online was wiped from the programme, which I thought was odd and made me think Baj wanted to hide some changes to the mods, so I think this is old news but has only just surfaced. So who is still an Admin and who is still a mod? I'm a little confused because it appears Arizona is still an Admin (more powerful than a mod as presumably he has greater access to the guts of the forum so to speak). Some clarification would be appreciated.

This. I think he did a good job as did Ponty. They both did the job without enjoying issueing cards when all it needed was a word. Because of this they earnt respect.

I'd planned on doing Luxor some time when the temperaure is bearable (Jan/Feb time) as it'd be no pleasure walking round ruins in sweltering heat, but I bet it's non stop hassle and trying to rip you off from the locals.

What I don't get is how you would need to apply for a new position if you were already employed in the said position. You said you weren't sacked and you said you hadn't resigned.

Two weeks ago we were at the front of the plane and got a couple with a 2 year old that spent the entire flight either screaming or ****ting in her nappy. The noise was bad but the smell was worse. On the way back the same couple were seated a row in front and the baby spent the whole flight screaming and ****ting her nappy. Surely all families with kids under a certain age should be put together at the back of the plane.

What are you looking for - a more authoritarian approach or a more laissez faire approach?
-
So you all resigned en masse?

Have a great time, but I suspect it'll be like Turkey. Having just returned it's a ****hole.
