  1. I feel exactly the same as you. The club say they ideally don't want to sell too many tickets at the counter on the day (which I can understand), but then whack a ticket tax on fans who can't get to the stadium easily so in effect it can cost more to buy in advance than pay the premium for buying on the day. It's disgusting how little Cortese thinks of fans outside of Southampton. I could accept paying for postage and packing for the club to post tickets out, but the exhorbitant cost of £3 way exceeds the cost of posting out tickets. Cortese has done this simply to squeeze more money out of fans in a devious way. I don't like it and don't like him.
  2. Has Micky Fialka bought a football club yet?
  3. Dave Romsey Phillips (RIP) won't be happy about this. That said he seems to have had more luck with the ladies since his ban. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3114906/Whale-beached.html

NickG would you now consider you got it wrong?

    I prefer foresight.
  7. I'd be happy with that.
  8. So do you now see a comparison between Lowe and clotese?

    Cortese V Lowe

Have any of the above posters changed their minds? We can now add sacking a manager just after a season has started in the Lowe v Cortese comparison.
  10. I hope we get someone decent, but i'd be concerned if it was Zola because I think he probably won't be a good manager.
  11. That weirdo Hoddle isn't coming back so don't get your hopes up.
  12. Now you've done it.
  13. It's quite amusing actually. The forum would be a sad place without the odd balls.
  14. No I didn't because the crash was avoidable had we stuck with Paul Sturrock.
  15. I was at Highbury with a NO HODDLE placard so played my part in him not being re-appointed.
  16. Spot on. And don't anyone dare forget that he saved our club every ****ing season he played for us.
  17. No he hasn't, he's saying what he thinks and I respect him for that. After Cortese's digs in May Matt has shown he won't be pushed around by our upstart chairman.
  18. Nice one Matt.
  19. Not that old chestnut again. Cortese should not be given immunity from criticism because of this fear.
  20. If Cortese's employers see that he is becoming a liability his position comes into question.
  21. He used to be a good poster but for some reason every other post of his is sarcasm now.
  22. No, but a gradual and sustained campaign against Rupert Lowe worked and it can be done again.
  23. Clarridge always comes accross as being sound in my opinion.
  24. If this is true it may be becuase of where Pardew lived. In future any Saints manager should be employed on the basis that he lives in the area.
  25. Not just me, there will be a significant number of fans that will stand up for Matt Le Tissier and Cortese will rue the day he attacked mine and others hero.
