  1. ****ing brilliant snooker match on channel 301 atm.
  2. - No nuclear detterent under the Liberals is another madcap policy. Do we simply let Iran and North Korea overtake us and if the **** hit's the fan go and sort out some nukes of our own? That's what the Liberals are endorsing. We might not rule the world anymore but we're still a nation that packs a punch - do we simply bow out of our gloabl OBLIGATION and become a nation like Switzerland? If you look past Clegg and look at the policies of the Liberals they are the policies of a party unfit for office in any capacity.

We all know there's work out there, the issue is getting the idle British people to do it. Labour have simply paid them generous benefits to sit on the arse, the Conservatives have pledged to reduce the benefits of those who refuse work. Get the idle British off their arses and we don't need immigrants to fill jobs.

I understand this, but you must concede that the public now underatnd there is a choice between two parties - Tory or Lib-Lab.

A resounding win for Cameron on Policy because there's a clear dividing line between being soft on immigration with the Liberals and Labour, and getting the problem fixed under the Conservatives. As much as those on the left don't think this is an issue it is an issue and the public have now seen that only the Conservatives will deal with it. Brown again performed badly and that insipd smile he kept pulling as no doubt instruted by Peter Mandeson was comedy gold. He was smiling at all the wrong times -what a fake! As to Clegg he put on a good show but his plan of making Britain defenseless in terms of our nuclear arsenal is bonkers. Iran is looking to go nuclear, N Korea already has them - we can't afford to turn Britain into such a puny nation in terms of millitary influence. Then there was Cleggs idea for poxy little windmills and solar panels as an alternative to Nuclear power - sheer madness - left to the Liberals power cuts would be the norm. On the Liberals wacky immigration propsal I loved how Cameron questioned his idea to limit migrants to working in a town or area of the Liberls choosing "are you going to turn the M5 into a border crosing?" or words to that effect. The Liberals really haven't thought any of their ideas through for the simple reason that their ides are the ideas of a party that has never had to be realistic and put forward ideas that make sense in the real world. As to the amnesty on illegal immigrants it's like I said the other day - give in to hostage takers and pay the randsom and you get more kidnappings, it' the same with the amnesty on illegal immigrants in that the Liberals policy will encourage more to come. There is now a clear dividing line between a strong Conservative government that will start on the economy straight away and reduce Browns giant credit card, and a squabbling Lib_Lab alliance, soft mmgration, indecisive on the economy, that will see the country go down the pan. This debate will go down as a defining moment because the Tory swing voters will now see that the Liberals and Labour are completely not what they believe in, however the Labour left will not return to Brown. There will not be a hung parliament, the Tories will win with a working majority.

There is a bet on whether he'll get egged. (BTW read that article i've put on the volcano thread, think you'll find it interesting.)
  7. Scrapping the pound, giving more powers to Brussels, and the open door immigration policy and amnesty for illegal immigrants.
  8. NICK CLEGG: 'WE'RE MORE GUILTY THAN THE NAZIS' NICK Clegg has claimed Britons have a greater “cross to bear” than the Germans do over their Nazi past, it emerged last night. Lib Dem leader, Nick Clegg, said we suffered from “delusions of grandeur” and a “misplaced sense of superiority” for having defeated Germany in the Second World War. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/170768/Nick-Clegg-We-re-more-guilty-than-the-Nazis-row
  9. An excellent article in todays Express about what happened in 1816. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/170667/Volcano-Could-this-be-another-year-without-a-summer-
  10. Just had a wee flutter on skybet. £1 on NC to say Trident in his opening speech. £1 on GB be first to say Volcano. £1 on Afghanistan to be the first country mentioned. £1 on DC to put his hands in his pockets first.
  11. I think you're very wrong on this, only today at work i converted someone from voteing Liberal by telling her some of their policies. The Liberals are riding high not on what they stand for, but because Clegg did well in a beauty contest.
  12. The latest ComRes poll makes better reading. CON 35%(+3), LAB 26%(-2), LDEM 26%(-2)
  13. The only thing about ken I don't like is his involvement with BAT.
  14. As if West ham would want him.
  15. I certainly agree with this.
  16. Rumour has it that senior Tories are fuming about George Osbourne's performances. They're also fuming about Cameron agreeing to do the debates when he didn't have to given the 10 point lead but that's another story. Osbourne is just totally out of his depth - i wouldn't even have him on a parish council let alone in government.
  17. Driving home from work this evening they were talking about Vince Cable on 5 Live. And particularly how he performed under scrutiny in todays show. They suggested VC's previous popularity is in danger if carries on performing like this. That said whilst George "mummys boy" Osbourne is on the podium no-one else is gonna look a bigger ****.
  18. You've ht the nail on the head. I want the Tories to win, but if not the next best scenario is Labour winning, but what looks like happening is a hung parliament and every hung parliament we've had since 1900 has failed and a re-election called. A hung parliament will be a disaster and like ken Clarke has said today it could well lead to so much indecision we end up back at the IMF as in 79. The astronomic amount of borrowed money that's been pumped into the economy isn't appreciated by most people because everything seems so fine at he minute - but it's all false like a lull before the storm and this election is about how we ride out the storm in the next parliament. This is why it's a disaster how weak the Tory front bench is with the likes of George Osbourne being the face of econmoic change. He's no vote winner and it's weaknesses like him that are costing the Tories. Then there's Gordon Brown that everyone takes a dislike to and this is what's letting the Liberals in. It's not because anyone wants the Liberals and it's certainly not because of their policies - scrap the pound, open up the borders, give illegal immigrants an amnesty, push us deeper into a European superstate, it's because so few people like the people in the other parties. However there has been a major change in tack now in the tory campaign and they are bringing the old guard out and going for broke whilst Labour continue to creep up to the Liberals as a hung parliament is the best case scenario for them. Will the public start to use their heads and see the dangers we face? Will the public see that a Liberal vote is a vote for gordon brown? Will the public see that only a Conservative or a Labour majority can make us strong enough to get us through the storm? I sense that the Liberal bubble is there to be burst.
  19. What would **** the Pompey scum off more is if Nicola Cortese went on SSN and said Southampton will waive the money owed because it's just loose change to us.
  20. LOL, so you're an expert on a match without seeing it, and now you're an expert on an interview without hearing it.
  21. As the seasons now over I think we should parade the JPT at the Carlise game.
  22. You have a point. Time to take a chill pill everyone. It was always odds against we'd do it and at least with it ending now we won't be even more gutted about it ending later.
  23. We've done everything bar score tonight and you get some c*nts still moaning. Unbelieveable.
  24. Pardew really layed into the dopey commentator.
  25. Don't worry about losing players, if we do we'll just buy some more. There's nothing to worry about any more, the futures bright the futures red n white.:vom:
