  1. Very important for him and the players. It's a big day for our club.
  2. Or in real terms (bodyclock) 3.0 given the changing of the clocks.
  3. My tickets arrived this morning thank god.
  4. It means that instead of drinking in central london and arriving at the stadium before k/o i'll need to get the bloody tickets sorted out.
  5. Not plain sailing, but we were a Premiership club not so long back. If Eastleigh struggled then you'd understand, but for a club like ours to struggle it's poor form.
  6. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=19406
  7. Has it occured to you that I may have been joking about that?
  8. What i will say though is that Duncan would be well advised to remember that todays news is tomorrows chip wrappers.
  9. I'm sure it was totally innocent ommision.
  10. For the cabin services director has clocked up fewer than 20 hours flying time in the past 18 months - despite drawing an annual salary of at least £50,000 from his BA and union work. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1259684/BA-Unite-strikes-Willie-Walsh-vows-win-war-attrition.html#ixzz0j0s3hKtm The figure they gave is presumably the figure he drew prior to his suspension. I'm not a big fan of the Daily Mail (much prefer the more balanced views of the Express) but it's clear they made an innocent mistake and didn't know about the suspension.
  11. For the cabin services director has clocked up fewer than 20 hours flying time in the past 18 months.........he would normally be expected to fly 838 hours a year Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1259684/BA-Unite-strikes-Willie-Walsh-vows-win-war-attrition.html#ixzz0j0p9gGp8 Taking that much time off work to do Union work does seem a bit unreasonable to me.
  12. Since making that post the ticket office have told me that Nicola Cortese personally took charge of this operation. It was his decision to post the tickets out this week. But this is the same ticket office that have told different posters different things so who knows if it's true.
  13. £50K a year for 20 hours work. No wonder Duncan finds time to write his books.
  14. Right i've spoken to the ticket office and the tickets were "apparently" now not sent out in alphabetical order. I asked who made the decision to send them out so late and her words were "it was the chairman Nicola Cortese that decided how it would be organised". I asked if I could pick up duplicates from Wembley on the Saturday to save the hassle on the day - answer NO.
  15. Our ticket office needs a new manager that knows what he's doing. What a shambles from yet again. Still no tickets.
  16. How can we get the slip? It might not arrive on time if they post it out. Is this another "make it up as you go along" story from the ticket office?
  17. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
  18. Are you sure we'll need a slip to get the tickets? I can't see how that'd be possible. Do you know whether the tickets could be picked up at Wembley the day before because i'd rather do this if it's possible.
  19. Taking your mobile into a ground and taking pics is illegal, as is reproducing a league table on a website unless given permission. What a crazy world.
  20. And their burgers at £6!
  21. They told me they'd all been sent out on Friday so someone is lieing.
  22. The money went out on 03/03/10 so we're now talking 19 days. It's rubbish service especially given the booking fee. And the problem now is that if they don't arrive on Wednesday they'll have to be picked up at Wembley which is a pain in the arse.
  23. A pint before the game and a pint at h/t will be fine. Maybe a swig of water from the taps if thirsty. That'll do me.
  24. Still no tickets and have rang up the 0845 688 9391 number. They say all the tickets have been sent out but if you want a refund they can do that. If they don't arrive by Wednesday you'll have to ring the club up and pick them up at Wembley. I hope Nicola Cortese is aware of what a mess the ticket office have made of this and will take action to ensure they buck their idea up in future.
  25. http://www.ticket4football.com/exclusives-tickets/1653/4092/carlisle-vs-southampton-johnstones-paint-trophy-final-wembley-stadium-28-march-2010-tickets.aspx They are expensive, but if you're desperate then it's an option.
