The simple fat is a significant proportion of this country does not feel the need for that level of control from a distant city. What is racist about UKIP's policies? Nothing. It's quite straight forward. The average man (and women) in the street have had too short a deal for too long due to excessively high levels of immigration, keeping wages down and pushing the cost of living for stuff like rent up. That is why UKIP will quite rightly gather a good vote in these elections.
