  1. What the f**k, I thought Shaw had a good game, but was given a tough afternoon. I haven't heard anyone say Wanyama was "rubbish", so not sure what that's all about. For what it's worth though, he does allow himself to give away a few too many soft free kicks, definitely something for him to learn going forward.
  2. Unlikely, as there was only one Saints v Man Utd game today. Which opposition this season do you think gave Shaw a tough afternoon?
  3. Where is the Danny Fox appreciation thread?
  4. Yeah because we all know in detail what decisions have made?
  5. Thanks for sharing. I'm in agreement, he might stay, but possible he could leave this summer. I'm not ITK before you ask though.
  6. We were decent first half, but struggled 2nd as they pressed us and upped the intensity and we didn't offer much in return. Fair result all told. Davis man of the match for me. Thought Januzaj gave Shaw a tough afternoon. Pain being kept a while for the players to come out at the end, but decent sing song, the players showed how much they appreciated the vocal bits of the ground.
  7. Cortese wooooh Cortese wooooh He comes from Italy He f*****g hates Pompey.
  8. It's not meant to thank him. Are you pleased with what NC's PR contacts are doing?
  9. Cortese's PR team still working away.
  10. Spot on. I'd rather MP stayed, but life goes on without him and we'd still have a very well run club.
  11. He's not on Silva's level and it's mad comparing him to Iniesta.
  12. Yes, but we didn't manage to get a lot of money out of them unfortunately!
  13. Who knows, it's clearly a bit of an exception to the trend, they got more than Everton or West Ham, so bit of a strange deal.
  14. Exactly. It could be argued that a smaller, growing firm are likely to pay more, based on the basic market forces of them wanting to get in ahead of bigger, better known firms.
  15. The Fulham deal is ridiculously high. The Stoke deal are the same people that own them I think? Looks like rather £1.5-2m per year is about par for a club our size, this new lot could be paying that if they're serious about being ambitious and growing with the club.
  16. From where do you pluck the £3-5m figure from?
  17. Running around on a football has always been fun, what's not to like about it? Used to be tradition for a fair few years at the Dell, pity that's not the case anymore.
  18. Have they got a couple of warm up games for their 30 man squad to get a run out?
  19. So trying to twist Bournemouth's arm, saying '15% of £25m is better than 0% of nothing, so sign up'
  20. Yeah, Crook doesn't have a clue. And why would "Lallana's representatives' be bothered about the sell on clause to Bournemouth?
  21. I wouldn't be surprised if Cortese's media contacts were some way involved. Either that or the journalists of the country enjoy a good wind up of the Saintsweb population, see how many pages of carried away angst they can get from one quick story.
  22. Did Lallana say anything at the awards about scoring at Liverpool?
  23. Still, not really a 'Saints' shirt is it?
  24. Yes, he's good at that, and it is useful, but the point still stands, if Liverpool have that kind of money to chuck around, I think they'd be better off focusing it elsewhere.
  25. How so what?
