Yeah, stick it up if you can, not been able to see that yet, cheers.

I don't think anyone has been negative about yesterday's announcement, generally a positive reaction. You'll always get speculation and debate as to how things might pan out going forward, that's part and parcel of a forum.

Glasgow Saint does have a fair point - what is the new chairman's role? It's still not clear. At the start of his interview he does list his key skills as player selection. For what it's worth I think he's been brought in to act as a charismatic figure head for KL, someone to lead with her ideas and keep her out of the regular spotlight and day-to-day discussions.

I don't work on Boxing day, I go to watch football usually, but thank you for your concern nevertheless.

So let's get this straight; you think KL should spend what, £25/30m to plan, design and build a hotel and shopping area in the welcoming surrounds of St Marys, it'd take let's say 5 years from now to open, then it will make how much profit to return into the club each year? £500k a year would be a fantastic return, but that's not going to make a significant difference to the club's stature or commercial weight. Is that what you think the plan should be?

That's nice, thank you for your input.

Where have I disputed that? I think you're missing the point.
-
Which facts have you very kindly informed me of?
-
I stated it wasn't a fact. There can only be opinions on the impact. Your view is unfortunately short-term and temporary, like the general Trade Union outlook on such things.

Did he say that? What the f**k?

They're my opinion. What do you think the impact of tube related strike action has had on the long-term drive to decrease operational head count?
-
Plenty of people work on Boxing Day, without the very healthy packaage that tube drivers get. Captialists believe in the free market on such things, I'm sure you understand that.

What was his actual quote on this?

It sounds like we've really stepped up in terms of communication and presentation, but I'm cynical how much money the club can really make in North America. I can't work out from his background how he'd have too much knowledge of commercial improvements and expansion or how he's part of the World Economic Forum, apart from his knowledge of leadership etc, but he needs more than just that for this role.
